Unit 6 - Modern Studio Huskisson main street By Nautilus Apartments Jervis Bay
Summary:
Unit 6 - " Myola" Studio Room - Sleeps 2
The "Myola" Studio is located on the ground floor of the Nautilus Apartments complex, tucked away at the end of Huskisson’s main street (Owen Street). It’s a great little getaway for couples or solo travellers wanting a budget-friendly weekend close to all the fun in Huskisson. You are 100m from Huskisson Wharf and literally on the door step of the many cafes, bars and restaurants that Huskisson has to offer.
The Space:
Inside "Myola" you’ve got a comfy queen bed, a flat screen TV, DVD player, reverse cycle air-con, hanging space for your things, a small table and chairs, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. We throw in some basics to get you started—tea, coffee, small milk poppa, toilet paper, salt, pepper, sugar, and soap. The kitchenette is stocked with a microwave, mini fridge, toaster, kettle, small electric frypan, plus plates and cutlery. Oh, and there’s free WiFi too!
The window and front door are tinted for your privacy, opening onto a small private courtyard with webber BBQ and table setting. Just a heads-up: there’s no laundry in the room, so if you're thinking of staying a while, keep that in mind, there is a local laundrette if required. We provide all the bed linen and the queen bed is made up ready for your arrival. Bath towels are included—just don’t forget your beach towels if you're planning to hit the water.
Guest Access:
Nautilus Apartments are located at 35 Owen Street, Huskisson 2540. It is opposite the picture theatre as you arrive in Huskisson (just past the primary school on the left).

The Neighborhood:
HUSKISSON
Huskisson is a picturesque coastal town nestled on the shores of Jervis Bay on the South Coast of New South Wales. Known for its stunning white sand beaches such as Huskisson Beach, crystal-clear waters and laid back casual vibe, Huskisson is a popular choice for tourists seeking natural beauty, great dining options, and a relaxed seaside atmosphere. The town offers a blend of history and modern charm, with heritage buildings like the Huskisson Pub, cozy cafés, and waterfront dining. It's also a hub for dolphin and whale-watching cruises, snorkelling, kayaking, and bushwalking in nearby national parks. The area boasts beautiful cafes, restaurants, pubs, wine bars and a burgeoning music scene, especially around Huskisson.
JERVIS BAY
Jervis Bay’s famous white-sand beaches and clear turquoise waters are amongst the safest and most beautiful in the world. The area along with Booderee National Park offers fantastic bushwalking, cycling tracks, Indigenous culture, camping spots, cliff-top lookouts and maritime heritage.
Teeming with native Australian wildlife, our resident dolphins play in the bay all year round. See kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, and many rare bird & animal species in the wild. One of the best places in Australia to witness whales on their annual migrations, humpbacks and southern right whales can be seen both offshore and inside the calmer waters of the bay from June through to November.
The many bay and ocean beaches, lagoons, secret coves and hidden creeks are perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, standup paddle boarding and surfing. Unspoiled coastal and country villages have local produce markets, boutique shops, art galleries and a terrific museum in Huskisson called "Jervis Bay Maritime Museum & Gallery".
Getting Around:
AROUND JERVIS BAY
At Nautilus Apartments, you're only a short walk from the famous white sand beaches and clear blue waters that Jervis Bay is known for, so if you're happy to stay local, you can walk to most of the sites around Huskisson. There are local taxi's and buses though, if you wish to explore more of the area. Or, why not hire an e-bike and explore the area on the many cycle paths? This is the best way to explore the beaches, creeks and sites along the foreshore os Huskisson and Vincentia.
GETTING TO JERVIS BAY
Getting to Jervis Bay is fairly easy, regardless of whether you plan on arriving by car, coach or train. Jervis Bay is a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney and Canberra.
Premier Transport and Murrays Coaches both offer several coach services between Sydney and Canberra to the south coast arriving in Nowra. There are also regular City Rail services on the South Coast line from Central Sydney to Bomaderry. Alternatively, the CountryLink rail service connects Canberra to Nowra, via Albion Park. From the train station you can catch a bus out to Jervis Bay (and Huskisson) which takes about half an hour.
Other Things to Note:

This consists of linen and bath towels on arrival as well as a starter pack of basic amenities that include a small milk, tea, coffee, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom) etc. Beach towels are not included in the linen package. Guests are expected to restock amenities once they have run out. For stays over 7 nights, a service clean and linen change will occur at the half way point of your stay. This is at no additional charge. If you require additional services please tell us before you check-in, these can be arranged for a fee. Cleaning of the apartment is included in the initial quote, but an excess cleaning fee of minimum $50 will apply if the apartment is not left in a clean and tidy manner on departure.
Noise Curfew:
We operate a strict 10pm noise curfew within the building and in particular the outside courtyard areas.
