This beautiful 1920s Art Deco-style two-bedroom house is ideal for families, couples, or travellers seeking space, comfort, and privacy. Unlike an apartment, it’s a fully self-contained, single-level home with no internal stairs — easy and accessible for everyone. The house features two comfortable bedrooms, with quality bed linen, bath towels, and beach towels provided for up to four guests.
The spacious open-plan living and dining area is filled with natural light and includes a thoughtful selection of books, toys, and games for both kids and adults. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook and dine in, including an oven, cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher. There’s also a separate laundry with a washing machine and dryer to make longer stays even more convenient.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a separate bathtub, and a private toilet. Step outside to enjoy a private, enclosed courtyard complete with BBQ facilities — perfect for relaxed outdoor meals. You’ll also have the convenience of free off-street parking in your own private driveway.

GARDENVALE STATION - short walks to Trains that will take you direct to the city on the Sandringham line. Duration: 15 minutes.
Airport Bus stops minutes away. (Frankston and Peninsula Airport Shuttle FAPAS)

Just a short stroll will take you to a lovely bunch of shops in Martin Street.
Many great cafes, fish and chips, bakeries, restaurants, boutique shopping, a very good Op Shop, supermarket, news agency and butcher.
Omar and the Marvelous Coffee Bird is located on our street corner so you can pop down for breakfast and fabulous coffee to kick start your day.
Brighton Beach is approximately about a 3-5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away.
FOR THE KIDS
At the cottage there is a secure outdoor space for the kids to relax or play in the sunshine.
Leafy Gardenvale Park is an excellent playground and space to run around. Suits all ages.
Gardenvale is Melbourne's smallest suburb but it is so close to Elsternwick, Elwood, Brighton, Ormond and various other villages so you will never run out of things to do in the area.
FOR THE SPORTING ENTHUSIAST
16 minutes to the Royal Melbourne Golf Course. Tennis Courts are a 5 minute drive away. Getting to Major sporting events like the soccer, football, rugby, tennis or cricket is just a short 10 minute train ride to Richmond Station and walk to the MCG.
To get to Etihad Stadium it takes 15 minutes to Southern Cross Station then a walk to the Stadium - it's that easy!

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put all rubbish (Red Lid) and recycling (Yellow lid) in outside bins. No plastic bags in Recycling
It is greatly appreciated if you could please leave the house clean and tidy upon departure.
Please make sure the Reverse cycle air-conditioner/heater, bar heaters and all lights are turned OFF before departure
After pulling the house door shut and locking the gate. Put the keys in the power box cupboard located on the brick wall side of the house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
