Roomy and well appointed property. We particularly liked the pool and outside seating areas. Excellent views of the surrounding area from the veranda. Enjoyed seeing the green monkey troup on several occasions.
We absolutely loved this house!! It met all of our needs and was super clean. We were a group of 8 adults and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Everything we needed was easily found in the house. The location was excellent, with just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The pool was an added bonus as well! The property manager always made sure we had everything we needed and communicated with us regularly. I would highly recommend Mustard Seed for your next stay in Barbados!!
Our stay was with extended family of 7 people total. This home had great space for everyone to be together or spread out as desired. Lots of places to lounge/sit in and out of the sun and dining table on covered porch was enjoyed for meals together rain or shine. Pool was wonderful to cool off in. Everything was extremely clean, beds were comfortable, and air conditioning in bedrooms a very welcome reprieve from the heat/humidity. Location is perfect for golfers - about 15 min drive to excellent golf courses - however, if you are an avid beach walker, this is not the greatest location as Mullins Beach is not very long...you'd have to drive to Payne's for a good beach walk. The only "criticism" is that the microwave could be replaced as it didn't work very well. All in all very good accommodation for our needs!
We stayed for two weeks at Mustard Seed Villa. Three couples and a teenage girl. Enough space for all of us to be together and alone when we wanted. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning inside of the villa, except for the bedrooms. We went in August (yes, I acknowledge that it’s the hottest time of the year) and really couldn’t do much in the kitchen or living room because of the heat. There was no breeze outside so even there it was warm. But the pool helped to keep us cool. The twice weekly housekeeping service by Jaswena was really appreciated. (And she was so interesting to talk to!). And the attention to service by Mark and Sally at the management office was exemplary. So, summary … awesome vacation!
