June Family Vacation

Nice location and convenient to enjoy time on the lake but to also visit other things Nashville has to offer. Outside of house could use some cleaning but had a great stay overall.

Good time had by all

We booked this location for a family gathering over Thanksgiving. The location is a great proximity to shopping, downtown Nashville, restaurants and more. Melissa was a great host and readily available to answer our questions even on Thanksgiving day. We would definitely stay here again.

Great rental on the water, outside of Nashville but only 30 min away

Great place to spend a week. No shortage of things to do at the house and on Olde Hickory Lake. Chip was great guy and able to arrange rental of pontoon boat and kayaks. Great sunrise views in AM. Close to huge variety of activities. A great time ! Would like to come back again.

Awesome for families

Great location on the water. Group of 12 of us had more than enough room to spread out. It’s a bit of a drive to get into downtown Nashville, 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The deck overlooking the water is a great spot to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Summer Stay

We loved the location of the home and how beautiful the view was! The accessibility of the boat and being able to rent and have it right at our dock was awesome! The home fits 11 people perfectly, any more would have been pretty tight! Our kids loved the pool table, back deck! Such a beautiful view!

Lake house retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. Melissa and Chip were both responsive and great. We were in town for a funeral so it was for a not great reason but the other things we could do helped distract our family and heal some on the lake. Looking forward to next summer if we can rent again! House had all the amenities and felt at home cooking.

We had an excellent stay at your house. It was perfect for our family gathering. Close enough to Nashville for us to visit the city every day and then head back in the evening for some wonderful family time. We loved the big kitchen / dining area, and the game room. Hoping that our next stay includes some warmer weather so we can also enjoy the fire pit and pier for fishing and kayaking!

This house was perfect for me, my mother, my daughter's and son's families. Convenient to shopping, attractions and restaurants. The lake view was beautiful. The weather was "freezing" when we were there so the game room was great for the children. Melissa was very accommodating. We could not have had a better rental experience.

Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was due to thin walls (heard those sleeping in room next door snoring), no door on master bathroom, and creaky floors. If these things wouldn't bother you then this is a great place. We would rent again!

Wedding Stay

The property is in a beautiful location right on the lake, and the surrounding area is very nice. However, the home itself could use some attention. The floors didn’t feel clean—there was noticeable grime on my bare feet as I walked around inside. The chairs at the kitchen table were wobbly, the coffee pot had a broken lid, and only one of the pool cue sticks was functional.The interior would benefit greatly from a fresh coat of paint, as there are many scuffs and marks on the walls.Also, it would be helpful to inform guests ahead of time about scheduled lawn and landscaping services. We were surprised when the crew arrived at 8:00 AM on a Saturday—it was extremely loud, like a NASCAR event, and not exactly the relaxing start to the day we had hoped for while on vacation.

Over all the stay was wonderful..cleanliness could use some improvement. Did not care for the extra cost on the group having more than 12 people..$25 per person...per night. Even for 2,4 and 5 year olds. Everyone enjoyed the house on the lake ..perfect ..

This home was nice, clean, and ready to go for our use! I loved the views and the pool table. I wish there was more seating since the listing says it can sleep 16. Also, I read where I could take a boat tour, but I could never get that scheduled. Lastly, it wasn't a problem, but our wifi would not work. Overall, it was a nice stay!

A Gem!

Had a fabulous stay in Mt. Juliet…in town for a family wedding. The property was clean & tidy, it offered plenty of space for all, and was centrally to all of our wedding related events. Communicating with the host was a breeze, and our stay was carefree. An added bonus…we rented a pontoon boat from the host (thanks, Chip for showing us the ropes). After enjoying a leisurely ride around beautiful Old Hickory Lake complete with a swim, we took a ride to Sam’s Bar & Grill across the lake for the best meal of our entire stay! Hope to come back sometime…wouldn’t hesitate to return to this spot☺️
