About this property

Beautiful log cabin on long lake. Enjoy beautiful views on the large deck overlooking the lake. House sleeps 14 guests so you can bring multiple families. Large wide open floor plan. Has WiFi. Has an outdoor fire pit and a very large deck with plenty of furniture. Awesome fishing on the lake. The lake has 7 bars and restaurants to pull the boat up to as well as a sand bar with a volleyball net. 20 minutes to hayward by car. Bait store 1 mile it has gas, ice, beer, etc. The cabin has 2 bedrooms up stairs and a loft as well, there is a bedroom on main floor as well. The cabin has 2 bathrooms. Kitchen is fully furnished with pots pans dishes etc. Big buck hunter arcade in the garage that is set on free play! Atv and snowmobile trails access is 1/4 mile away from the cabin there is a huge network of trails.

Loons Nest on Long Lake

The house had everything you needed and more. Great place for any sized group. Unfortunately for us the weather didn’t cooperate but this time of year it can happen. Ronnie was great communicator.

Family vacation on Long Lake

Our family used to stay there years ago so we were happy to be able to come back to the same property after years of being away. The place was just as nice as we remembered it! Such a nice spot on the lake with a beautiful view! We greatly appreciated the Lundin family for allowing us the opportunity to stay there for a week! I would definitely recommend this property to others in the future and would definitely consider booking again in the future!

Lovely vacation!

Our family loved our stay at The Loon’s Nest again this year. Communication with Ronnie has always been great, He goes beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cabin is complete and clean with plenty of towels, kitchenware and the beds are comfortable. We love the porch overlooking Long Lake!. We also caught plenty of fish! Thank you!

Family Vacation

This home was perfect for our family and had everything and more that we needed. The view and location on the lake was perfect. Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed every minute at the cabin and in the water. The weather was perfect, unfortunately the fish did not feel like biting but it did not ruin the fun. Saw an Eagle, a deer and many other animals on the property. There was an close bait store that we could get gas. We rented a pontoon for a week, had paddle boards and kayaks and our sons friend brought up a jet ski so we spent most of our time on the water. Can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend this the Loons Nest, you will not be disappointed. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating.
