Walk to restaurants, the Carnival on foreshore, the Beach or just sit on the undercover upper deck and watch the ships go by, enjoying the Water Views, a BBQ and a wine or two!!

Ryeview is a renovated double storey home, just minutes walk from all that Rye has to offer. It has 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms; plus 2 Living areas and sleeps up to 8.

There is Parking available for a maximum of 3 vehicles.

Open plan living with Gourmet kitchen upstairs and Kitchenette downstairs, 2 entertaining areas, plasma TV, Blu Ray player, Iphone dock clock radio, stereoCD player, spa bath, BBQ, large fully fenced backyard and 2 outdoor entertaining areas. Ryeview is beautifully appointed, with all the mod cons you could wish for on your holiday.

Ryeview is a short drive to the Peninsula Hot Springs for some pampering; and other attractions such as golf courses; wineries; Maze; horse riding; fishing; surfing; Rye carnival and swimming with dolphins.

A perfect summer escape. Chris, the owner is lovely and friendly. We had a great stay and with kids, it was a perfect spot being close to shops, the beach and a great deck for evening dinner and drinks. Would stay again.

Great location

Really enjoyed our quick trip to Rye over the weekend! This property is in a great location, a really easy walk to the pier and foreshore. It was bigger than we needed so could see how two families could easily stay here. Kitchen has everything and lovely views from the deck. Chris was a fantastic communicator and checkin was a breeze! Would stay again!

Not fantastic; too many malfunctions; poor security

1. The garage door remote stopped working after the first day. 2. The door from the garage into the house couldnt be locked, there is no key provided for the door lock.3. The front security door couldnt be locked4. The front glass door, only partially locks so can be jiggled open; so effectively there is no real security at night or when we go out.5. there are no AC in the bedrooms , so the AC in the hall has to be left on and the bedroom doors kept open6. The roller blinds in the ground floor sliding door does not go all the way down as it is stopped by the kitchen cabinet, so reduces privacy plus light comes in and disturbs sleep7. the ground floor entertainment area down-lights didnt work; so couldnt be used at night8. the upper floor entertainment area - only 2 of 4 down-lights were working - so couldnt be used at night9. There is no lock for the side-gate10. The ground floor smoke alarm was beeping; however it was fixed the next morning.after we contacted the owner.11. No bathing soap, shampoo or conditioner was supplied. This was not clearly indicated12. The upper floor toilet roll holder was loose13. The cleaners had left their cleaning stuff on the vanity in the upper floor bathroom.Wouldnt recommend.

The tenant obviously had expectations beyond what this property offered- AC in bedrooms, provision of toiletries – neither of these has ever been stated as being provided. A couple of items unfortunately ran out of battery life during this stay – the smoke detector and remote control- these batteries have since been replaced. The globes that were out have also been replaced – this was done whilst the tenant was in residence. The garage to house door is considered an internal door and no key exists for this door – there is no security risk with the garage door closed. The front door locks perfectly. The roller blind that doesn’t go to the floor is in the living area, not a bedroom. The side gate securely bolts from the inside – no need for key.

The house is close to the shops and the beach. It's ideal for larger (parents, children, grandparents ) family. The property has beautiful view to the bay, two outside sitting areas and inside its very well furnished and equipped.

Great house, great location

The house itself was spacious and catered very well for our group of three separate couples. Beautiful deck out the back allowed us to sit and take in the view of the beach. The location was perfect as it was easily walkable to the beach and the shops, but far enough away that we didn’t really feel how busy it actually was during that time. Would recommend.

So Close To Everything

Great stay at this place during peak season. Love the idea of driving car into garage and parking car out of the sun. We stay there on a few days where the temperature was well over 30° and the air-conditioners worked exceptionally. Plenty of room if two families wanted to stay and the view from upstairs is awesome. You can see the ships cruising down the shipping channel.
