Rustic getaway

It was the perfect cabin to relax and spend time with our family. And all of the things we wanted to do were within 30 minutes or less.
Our Brittany loved being surrounded by the woods and all things that fly, lol.
Our shepherd loved lounging on the deck

The cabin was wonderful and beautifully located in close distance to all major attractions, adventurous and great restaurants. Other reviews said the bathroom and shower were too small...and yes it is... but it accommodated 4 with ease. Honestly, if you stay at an amazing cabin, that had everything else you needed and you are vacationing in red river gorge you should be enjoying the wonderful views and experiences that surround you. The kitchen, living room and beds rooms were great. But most of all enjoy the big half rap around deck, hot tub and fire pit while there when not out on your next big adventure!!!

Clean and quiet

This cabin was the perfect size for us and our 3 boys. It was clean, which is the #1 priority for us. :) Location is great. Our only issue was with finding hot water in the shower, be we eventually figured it out. We enjoyed the fire pit and the peace and quiet.

Lovely cabin

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The yard is large and is not too close to the neighboring houses. The wrap around porch with hot tub was a highlight! Only downside is that the property managers limit supplies (i.e. a only a few trash bags and toilet paper rolls supplied)—they made note of this in the house guidelines ahead of time, but it felt a bit stingy and required us pack things that normally have been supplied to us in full for other vacation stays.

Nice pet friendly cabin

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It rained the whole time we were there. The large covered deck was used. I suggest having rugs inside and outside the doors in the event it rains. The hot tub faces the street but once in it, you just see trees. I didn't get to use the fire pit due to heavy rain. The sidewalk going to the fire pit will become a puddle when raining. After rain died down, I was able to walk back there. It is a nice set up. Despite the rain, we enjoyed our stay. The grocery store was fairly close as well as a liquor store.

Great Getaway Cabin

We were very happy with the cleanliness. Cabin was centrally located. We enjoyed hiking behind the cabin and in the national forest. Close by I was a Underground in Gorge, which was great. We took advantage of the fireplace, which made for wonderful evenings. Definitely a cabin. We would come back to you in the future. What would’ve put it over the top? Storage for our clothes. We utilize the spare bedroom bunkbeds. Hangers in the closets and bathroom sink. Water flow was weak. 0h, more than one wine glass We love the cabin and enjoyed our time in red river gorge.

Overall a decent cabin and I would stay again with a group of people. I think the location of the cabin really sold it for me. It’s close to a lot of beautiful hiking trails and about a 20 minute drive to the grocery store. The only things that could have improved was the bathroom rug was damp when we arrived, the frying pans were too damaged to cook anything in with the exception of one small one, and it smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals mixed with a little bit of mildew upon arrival. It is a cabin so I can’t complain much about that and the chemical smell eventually faded so at least we knew it was cleaned beforehand. Im only being a little picky about these things because of the price we paid to stay here. It was nice to be able to bring my dog too!

Clean but rugs smelled like dog, toilet moves, but in a great location to do the things we came to do. Shower is smaller than it looks in picture. The rose going in the door is beautiful! It was very peaceful no traffic. Thanks

Great location

Great location close to amazing hiking. Some road noise since you are super close to the expressway but not really terrible either. Comfortable beds and nice hot hot tub. Few steps in for access but easy parking. Only enough room for 2 cars.
