Great for a large group
We stayed at Las Arenas in the April school holidays and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and accommodated our large group easily. Plenty of space for the kids and a huge kitchen with extra fridges for food & drinks. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for having us!

Great Sue, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed my place- that's what I am for! A lovely spacious holiday home with extra space to make your stay all that more comfortable. Many thanks for the visit and hope to have you back sometime!!
Las Arenas was fabulous for our big group! There were plenty of hang out spots, the house was well set up, and the room with 10! Beds was still super spacious.
Great property and good value. It was so warm and the beds were great. Short walk from a cool surf coffee shop and from the beach. Some cosmetic things needed to be fixed. We had a BBQ and a camp fire. The kids loved the pool table.
Great distance to Innes national park and beaches :)
We liked the double showers downstairs to hose the kids down after the beach. Kitchen has plenty of crockery and cutlery.
The house has paper thin walls so noise travels
Not enough parking for a house that meant to sleep 18 people
Won’t be back

You lied about your guest numbers, paying for 8 but bringing a lot more people than what you paid for! Then when I caught you out you lied about making the extra payment for the extra guests.
As for your silly comment about parking, between the front yard, drive way & street there is parking for at least 6 full size cars- no one has EVER complained there's not enough parking & left a 1 star review.
Never coming back is too soon for guests like you.
I did like the house but went to have a shower and the hot water wasn’t on so 12 of us had to go to the caravan park to have a shower as we all had been on the charter boat fishing and needed a shower straight away. Also there was a lot of dead blow flies everywhere inside especially on the stairway

After apologising that unfortunately the solar booster was off, when it is normally on, and you happened to have encountered cold weather in Summer, I refunded you some $$ for the inconvenience, yet still you feel the need to leave a negative review. Funny how most people have a great time and don't bother with reviews but people who like to complain seem to love writing reviews. Thanks!

yearly fishing trip.
nice and clean. heaps of room, really disappointed the snooker table was taken away.
lucky we brought a portable barby as the one supplied was broken.
the owner was nice enough to let us get in a bit early.
lucky it was a dodge tide and we didn't catch fish because it would have been a real challenge with no fish cleaning facilities.
still a nice place and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Hi Matt,
Yes I'm sorry to say we have had a mini-disaster these past few weeks. The pool table top was ruined by bogans so we took it out and the replacement table was a little to large to man handle into place so we've had to put it on ice until we get something worked out. Unfortunately theres only the old air-hockey table for the moment, it won't be there for long. The fibre glass table outside usually gets moved and used for cleaning fish but true, I do not have facilities specifically for fish cleaning as I do not want the extremely stinky refuse in my bins when the next guests arrive! Lastly, I surprised to hear the BBQ was broken as it is working fine now. Maybe it was low on gas. If you ever have any little issues whilst staying at mine please do not hesitate to get in touch as the house is managed by my neighbour who can help you out in an instant. Hope to have you all back for your next trip- with a new pool table a few beers in the dedicated beer fridge for your troubles- just remind me of this! Cheers!
Not happy with oven as it was dirty. Smoke detector down stairs had no battery so it didn't work. Stains on bed covers & bed's were not comfortable. I feel this house needs some upgrades & it would be a lot better. We still enjoyed our stay. Marion Bay was awesome.
This house caters well for large groups. There are multiple fridges inside, two BBQs, and a play room for the kids.
We enjoyed our stay and found the house suited our needs very well.
Clint was also very prompt to answer any queries we had.

Beautiful location
We loved Marion Bay. The house was spacious but the oven was filthy and the oven door broken. The BBQ was full of fat and caught fire when we turned it on. There were no instructions provided about the water pump and we woke to find no water on the first morning. If these things were fixed up I would recommend it to everyone. The dormitory style room upstairs was a hit with the children and the pool table was very popular. We enjoyed fishing and the National Park.
We had a great weekend at Las Arenas. The house is well situated in Marion Bay and we enjoyed the close proximity of the beach. Marion Bay has a great Tavern and being close to Innes was awesome as well. For a group of 6 friends, it was well set up as everyone had a double or queen size bed. This place is well equipped for groups with plenty of room and fridges for beers and food. This place has a nice outdoor setting as well that is under cover and quite private. We would stay here again.
Amazing home away from home..
house well located , spacious with all amenities needed.
Owner replied all questions promptly easy to deal.
Game room decoration was the highlight along with the yellow submarine room ! We love it ! Do yourself a favor and book this property to have a good time 🏖
I bought the block when I was 21. The street was just sand and trees, not much else. I built the house new in 2009-10 & designed it to be accommodating for large groups of people. I hope you will enjoy it even half as much as I do!
Why they chose this property
Large trees protect you from the winds that rip across the ocean and the peninsula, and provide shade, privacy and sanctuary to native wildlife. You will stay cool all summer long in Las Arenas, and the well insulated house is very fast to heat in winter. The house has been well built to entertain large groups of people.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy Al-fresco dining with the beautiful private garden setting.
