The property is located 0.8km, a short stroll to Smith's Beach. It has two storeys and has a large back yard with a native garden that attracts native birds. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. The main bedroom is upstairs and has an ensuite and balcony overlooking the area. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds. There is a shared bathroom between the two downstairs bedrooms. It has a large lounge area downstairs.
The kitchen and main living area are located on the first floor. This living area is complete with a lounge suite, TV, video, DVD player, stereo and dining area. The dining table seats 10 people comfortably. The home has a split system air-conditioned/heater for your comfort both upstairs and downstairs.
The kitchen is fully set up with with crockery, cutlery, gas hotplate, an electric fan forced oven, microwave and a dishwasher. There are a wide selection of condiments and basic cooking needs such as flour, sugar, tea and coffee.
The extensive decking off the lounge room has a gas BBQ available. The home is ideally suited for 2 families who enjoy spending time together, with separate living areas downstairs for kids.
We have a selection of board games to play and books to read, plus wifi for those who like to stream movies.
Locality
Smith's Beach is a popular family surf beach located on Phillip Island. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards over the summer periods and is ideal for surfing, body surfing, and boogie boarding. Great for families.
The Island Surf Shop also organises daily surf lessons if you are interested in trying something new. There are also many beautiful walks around the area.
Smith's beach is only a short drive to the Fairy Penguin Parade, The Nobbies and the Australian Motor Cycle Grand Prix Circuit.

The property has a large back garden which is great for kids to run around in or for that family game of cricket or footy.
There is an external shower where you can quickly clean off after a swim in the surf, and a northerly facing outdoor entertaining area where you can kick back and relax.between the two downstairs bedrooms.

Our family loves being by the beach, we love swimming, surfing and going for long walks in the nature of Phillip Island. Phillip Island is also a great place for cyclist and those who enjoy a bit of excitement at the Phillip Island Grand Prix race track.
Why they chose this property
We chose the house in Smith's Beach as it is ideal for large families. With the two living areas, it gives the parents and children space to do their own thing. Smith's Beach is a relatively safe beach that is ideal for young and old. The beach is patrolled by Lifesaving Victoria from Boxing Day 26th of December until February. Nearby is the Penguin Parade & The Moto GP circuit.
What makes this property unique
Smith's Beach has a great General Store that is within an easy walk of the house and beach. They make awesome Fish & Chips and sell quality food, yummy bread and make good coffee! Island Surfboards at Smith's Beach offer surf lessons most days for those that want to give surfing a go. All wetsuits and boards are supplied. The Shearwaters nest at Smith's Beach in September and eggs hatch around January. The birds migrate each year 30,000 kms away to the Bering Sea, Alaska and the migration can take 4-6 weeks
