The ideal luxury retreat

This house is in a tranquil setting looking over the lake from the rear balcony and has all the luxury inclusions you could want.

There are 4 bedrooms, the main bedroom is absolute luxury with a king size bed and access onto the balcony with views to the lake and an en-suite with spa bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The picture is completed with air conditioning; surround sound stereo and a chef kitchen including coffee machine, chef stove, dishwasher and a gas BBQ on the balcony.

An idyllic oasis in paradise! The swimming pool looks over Wallis Lake with shade or sun to suit your mood.

Situated between Pacific Palms and Forster, Songbird is just a short drive to several pristine beaches and cafes and restaurants. nearby at Pacific Palms and Forster. The closest boat launch site is half a kilometre away.

Five minutes drive to popular wedding and conference centre of Tiona and the Green Cathedral.

There is access to the lake from the back yard so bring your kayak or paddle board.

Watch the sun set while you have a BBQ on the balcony and let your cares drift away.

Wonderful break - a perfect place if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in a lovely house. The pool is beautiful as is the setting with kayaking on the lake a highlight.

Lovely Wallis Lake Getaway

Beautifully well appointed property. Pool and lake side position was amazing on a hot weekend getaway. The only thing you need to bring are BBQ utensils…..no were supplied at the property.

Had a great time, place was amazing the only little things were property advertised with garage but no remote or keys to operate garage to put car away, advertised with spa was looking forward to relaxing in spa wasn't communicated prior that spa was not working and check in and check out times were listed different on every piece of information.

Tammy, many thanks for your review, feedback is very important to us. Unfortunately the spa did malfunction just before your stay and we were unable to get this repaired in time. We hope to replace the unit. The check in and out times were clearly communicated to you at the time of booking, three days before arrival, on the fridge door and in the information book provided ie 3.00pm check in and 10.00am check out. I’m not sure where the confusion arose with this. I was always easily accessible if you were unclear during your stay.

Superb location with a beautiful pool

We've just returned from a 10 day Christmas holiday stay at Songbird. Our family was all adults, with the eldest aged 85. We had a great time at the property. The Forster region is delightful, and Green Point is a perfect little piece of paradise. The house did have issues for our group. The main bedroom was terribly hot, having neither A/C nor a ceiling fan, and its "open" ensuite was so impractical that we didn't use it. The bath doesn't function, and the shower floods the floor. To look at a toilet from the bed isn't our personal idea of romance. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were lovely, and the beds in each room were most comfortable. Our biggest issue was the large number of stairs in the house, so we cannot recommend it for those with mobility issues. The position of the fridge in the kitchen is a nuisance - it is hidden in a cupboard, and when it is opened it blocks access to the kitchen. Songbird has 2 outstanding features - the glorious swimming pool, and the fabulous upstairs deck with its spectacular view. We watched many beautiful sunsets from there during our stay. A special shout out to the manager Ken who is always available to help with any questions, and who runs a delightful little cafe down the road. We would highly recommend Songbird to those for whom stairs are not a problem, and thank Ken for making us feel so welcome.

Relaxing getaway

The property was great for a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, the spa wasn’t working which was disappointing, as this was something which enticed us to this property. As a suggestion, advising us in advance would have been a better approach as opposed to finding this out after arriving. Other than this we had a great week and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Great family holiday house

The house, pool and BBQ were the highlights of our holiday. We played in the pool up to three times a day followed by dinner on the fabulous balcony. Definitely planning another stay, thank you songbird.

Park the car, put your keys in a bowl and relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we holidayed with 2 other couples and really enjoyed every aspect of the property, including the location and hospitality of the host. We would definitely love to stay here again. A great home to spend time with a large group of people and still have your own space to do different activities.

Honeymoon

We choose this place for our honeymoon as it was a one stop vacation, everything was there and all the appliances you need. The local town is only a short drive. The venue was spectacular with it amenities and decor was flawless. The in room spa was delightful.

Great Place for families to relax and unwind

We stayed with our friends over New Years and enjoyed every moment of this beautiful property and our experience was amazing. It was our first time in Green point. The house owner Kerry was very helpful and sweet and provided us with the direction and the places to visit even before we arrived. The house itself was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. The view from the house is so relaxing. Kerry has thought about everthing we needed to have an enjoyable stay Our children enjoyed thoroughly swimming in the Wallis Lake. We felt totally safe walking around at all times. Location was also great, only a 12 minute drive into Forster and beaches. We had a great holiday with lots of happy memories about our stay at the Song Bird and we would love to go back some day.
