DRIFTWOOD SEVENTEEN BOOROO

This wonderful large beach house is perfect for a relaxing holiday for 2 families to enjoy! 'Driftwood' has 2 large living areas and a large upstairs deck with bush and sea views.

Winter is cosy with a split system heating downstairs and a slow combustion wood heater upstairs. Gas heating also available. Wood supplied.

Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom (Queen) and 2nd bedroom with either King or twin configuration available. Upstairs also includes a great bathroom with deep soak bath and a walk in shower.

Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one King or Twin and an adjoining room with 2 single beds and a bunk room. There is also a second bathroom / toilet with laundry facilities.
You also have access to the lower deck, complete with outdoor shower and fully fenced yard for children to play securely.
Back lane access makes a trip to the beach a quick 2 minute walk and 1 minute to the local shop and caravan park ... great coffee too .
The younger family members have their own living/entertainment area, complete with a smart TV and internet access.

You will enjoy cooking in the well-appointed modern kitchen whilst socialising with family in the open plan living/dining space complete with a smart TV and internet access also, that opens out on spacious upper level deck complete with BBQ, outdoor setting and more.

Sleeps up to 10 people with ample cark parking for upwards of 4 cars and boat if required.

The perfect holiday

We had the most amazing week at Margaret's beautiful house. We were so comfortable and cooked lots of lovely dinners in the well equipped kitchen or out on the BBQ on the verandah. The perfect beach home!

We had such a lovely break at Driftwood. The location is a dream with teens/kids, such a short and easy walk to the beach and the house was perfect for a holiday - so clean and spacious and stylishly presented. There was room for everyone to have their own space. The balcony was my favourite place to read and relax listening and seeing the ocean. Margaret is a lovely host - kind and accommodating with prompt and excellent communication.

Perfect beachside location

Pambula Beach really is paradise and Driftwood is positioned to make the most of its assets: the main, patrolled beach stretching out to Merimbula, Lions Beach, plus the stunning river mouth and Ben Boyd National Park, are all within easy walking distance. It is also a stone’s throw from the Broken Oar cafe for general supplies, decent coffee and fish and chips/ gourmet pizza. Driftwood sleeps one or two families comfortably. We enjoyed the artistic flourishes in the decor, the balcony views and relaxing furniture, the great hot showers, comfy beds, lovely gardens, and especially being able to bring our dog. The abundant bird life and visits from local roos, frogs and lizards were also highlights. Margaret was a warm, helpful and welcoming host. We very much hope to be back!

Great House

Driftwood is a great place to stay especially with the family dog. The convenience to the beach, the quiet neighbourhood and the wild life are all you could want for a holiday. The house is very comfortable and well appointed if you want to cook. We all enjoyed our holiday here, especially the dog with the shady garden. When we get the chance we will be back.

We had such a wonderful stay at Driftwood, the house fit our 3 families and the location is great

From the start of the process all of the way to the end was seamless with Margaret. She was quick to respond and always available for any questions. The house was the perfect size for the three families and just around the corner from the beach and playground. A wonderful time away and we look forward to booking again in the future.

Beach holiday

Overall, the home was really lovely, beautifully decorated, lovely gardens and beach views. Was a little lacking in towels, and essential items such as Loo paper, dish wash powder, soap powder, coffee etc, even if there was just enough to get you through your first day or two. Overall, would recommend this for a large family. Margaret was very responsive and helpful.

Simply splendid

We (family of 5 plus pooch) spent a very happy 6 days at Driftwood. It perfectly balances charm with modern functionality and comfort. Relaxing on the deck with the stunning views of the afternoon sun lighting up Pambula Beach and the bay was one of our favourite pastimes. The house is a very short walk to a lovely beach and a good takeaway/general grocery shop. Margaret was a great host- very prompt in replies to queries and she provided clear and timely information. We couldn’t recommend Driftwood more highly.
