Holiday @ Smiths Beach, 3 Bernard Court

Meet Bernard, your laid-back traditional beach house! Nestled in a quiet space remarkably close to the island's safest surf beach (Smiths Beach), Bernard offers relaxation. The north-facing entertainment deck has a Weber BBQ, a spacious concrete dining table for up to 12, and overlooks a leafy garden where you can shut the front gate and let the little ones play securely.

Bernard offers a full kitchen including a massive fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee plungers. It is well equipped to service groups of 10 plus people. The bedrooms are simple, with dark blinds for sleep-ins, comfortable beds, and floorboards throughout (one bedroom with a queen bed, two bedrooms with tri-bunks and one bedroom with a double bed).

Bernard has two bathrooms. The inside bathroom and toilet are separate. The outside bathroom is perfect for washing off the sand after a trip to the beach.

Wifi is provided by NBN and Netflix is provided.

The undercover back deck offers a smaller table, well-loved table tennis, separate external laundry (10 kg washing machine),

Bernard also offers undercover parking for multiple motorbikes or one car, with space for an additional four cars off the street. Bernard offers a gate lock for locking up bikes or cars before you head out to explore the array of restaurants in Cowes.

Bernard prides itself on being clean, simple, uncluttered, chilled, and private. But it doesn't offer 500 thread count luxury or the bells and whistles of Peppers Noosa (if this is what you are chasing)

But it does offer....

KID-FRIENDLY: A bookshelf in bedroom 4 houses a range of board games and books. Possum boxes throughout the garden house many permanent possums. The garden is a fun place to explore.

PEAK SEASON: We are tucked away one block from the fabulous little Smiths Street Shop and off the main Smiths Beach Road. Park your car away from the crowd and walk to either Smiths Beach, YCA beach, the corner shop or the Playground.

PHILLIP ISLAND: Is one of Australia's top tourist destinations. Gorgeous beaches, hiking and wildlife (penguins and koala natural sanctuaries). There is a never-ending list of things to do.

Exactly as advertised. Property is clean, has everything you need and is 5 mins to a great beach. We loved Smith’s Beaxh and would stay in this property again. Owners are super helpful

Lovely Stay for the GP

The property is beautiful with plenty of room and very close to the PI track. Perfect stay with quick access everywhere on the island. The host was very communicative and easy to deal with.

Great House and Location

The house was exactly as listed, renovated with all the mod cons. Netflix, reverse cycle air conditioning. Great house to share with another family. We really loved the great front garden aspect from the front verandah where we had many BBQ's. Visited by friendly bushy tail possum and we think a very noise wombat crashing about in the garden one night!

Fantastic location in a quiet court. House is nestled within a mature garden. Lots of shade on hot summer days. Lots of driveway space and car parks could fit a 6m boat. House was exactly what we needed as a 5person family. Could easily fit 2 families. Modern furniture and beds. Games and books for kids. Internet was very fast. Decking area gets great sun in the morning but cool in the afternoons. 100% happy.

Australia Day Weekend Away

My family and I had the most relaxed weekend after a long time. The home had a very homey feel to it, was modern with all the essential necessities and very clean and tidy and at the perfect price point. The proximity to Smith Beach is perfect and in a ideal location. There is really nothing I could fault about the home, my only suggestion would be to have pedestal fans in the bedrooms for the extra warm nights. Vanessa

Holiday Haven at Smiths Beach

Postioned in a delightful bush setting in a quiet court a few minutes stroll from the renowned Smiths Beach, it is no wonder we had a great stay. Inside, the house is open with plenty of natural light, well laid out and very comfortable. Lovely natural breezes flow through the screened doors and windows, although the air-conditioning was also most welcome on the couple of hot February days we were lucky enough to experience during the fornight of our stay. We spent a number of afternoons and evenings on the front verandah enjoying barbeques listening to sounds of both bush and beach. Very relaxing indeed. Everything you could need was provided and nothing was too much trouble for the owners (Alli and Ben). It was the perfect beach get-away.

Awesome place to stay!!

We totally enjoyed our couple of nights at No 3 Bernard Court Smith's Beach!! The owners were extremely easy and helpful to deal with! The house was immaculately clean and tidy! Our beds were all really, really comfortable! We all had a fun and relaxing time! Truely we all would highly recommend this house as an awesome place to stay!!!! We'll definitely be returning!!

Lovely, modern, with everything you need!

My family and I loved our stay here! 3 Bernard Court is beautiful, comfortable with peaceful surrounds. Everything was very clean, including the second bathroom outside and the kitchen is fully equipped! Only a short walk to the gorgeous beach too! We had a great BBQ dinner on the deck :) The owners were so helpful and incredibly accommodating. Thank you so much!! We'd definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful home so stay in, will definitely book here again. Perfect amount of space and loved the open plan kitchen/dining and lounge. Lovely deck as well. Very peaceful.
