Lakeland's Get Away Home

Enjoy this quiet holiday get away, in the serenity of a luxurious break away from your day to day living! Situated only 15 mins north of Mandurah and 55 minutes from Perth it's a home away from home!

Please Note: WE CANNOT RENT TO SCHOOL LEAVERS OR UNDER 21 YEAR OLDS.
ALSO NO PETS ALLOWED

Fully furnished, and sleeps up to 10 people (4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms).

Ensuite with double vanities, separate toilet, and shower with glass screens.
Second bathroom has a shower and bath.
Open plan dining, kitchen, lounge and living areas.
Kitchen is provided with all the necessary items for eating in, fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, cutlery, saucepans, and other items.
The living room and lounge both have TVs.!.
NETFLIX and Expresso Machine Now available!

To top off this Get Away there is an inviting six seater heated spa!
Out on the verandah we offer seating for 8; BBQ with roasting hood for entertaining.

Sleeping Configuration and Bedding

The property sleeps 10 people in 4 bedrooms.
The large master bedroom has a queen size bed, bedroom 2 and 3 has 3 x single beds with bedroom 4 - a queen size bed!

There is a ceiling fan, block out roman blinds, and walk in robe in the master bedroom also. With the 3 other bedrooms having built in robes and ceiling fans for those hot summer nights.

Some blankets are provided, but you may need to bring extra if you feel the cold.

2 x Queen, 3 x Single, 1 x Single Bunk Bed sleeps two children, and 1 x Sofa sleeps one adult or 2 small children, plus a Double Air Mattresses if required.

The property is well situated, close to shopping centre and easy travel distance to Mandurah. The property was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We found the property could benefit from some maintenance, particularly the ensuite bathroom, window cleaning and some gardening.

We used the house as an arrival destination and offered our guests a grazing board and cocktails before heading out for dinner Then went into Mandurah for dinner and a boogie. The guests that were staying the night then returned to the house where we enjoyed a dip in the spa, a chat and a laugh. The house worked perfectly for us

Perfect stay

We stayed at Linda's house with a group of friends while doing the MACA200 bike ride. The house was clean, tidy and perfectly fit for purpose. Communication was clear and instructions easy to follow. We couldn't get the spa to heat up but that might have been be due to us rather than the spa!

Cold and unclean

Property was not clean, mould and hairs in the showers. Kitchenware was dirty. No doonas supplied, limited linen which was supplied smelt musty and looked dirty. Netflix did not work. Spa instructions were not explicit and vague in their details. Gate to enter property was difficult to access due to height.

Well that’s the first negative comment we’ve received 😢! Firstly apologies that your experience was not satisfactory.. if I could please provide a response in our defence: Unclean - that would be impossible as the property is inspected to ensure it’s cleanliness the day before and prior to any stays. Coldness - the winter months in Mandurah can get very cold. I did email you the week before to advise there are some blankets, but you may wish to bring extra, and that there is reverse cycle 🔄 air conditioner in the living area. Linen - this is the first time we have provided linen for our property (previously it was BYO), so the sheets were brand new, so not sure how they appeared unclean and smelt musty? Netflix- I’m not sure why this wasn’t working as the internet was, a phone call may have rectified this for you. Spa Instructions - there is a 9 page detailed guide with photos providing clear instructions on how to operate the spa. Gate - it does have a high latch but it is required to ensure unwelcome guests do not have easy access. Showers - these were washed down and cleaned prior to your stay. Overall, we are bitterly disappointed that your experience was not as you had envisaged, but as I mentioned this is the first negative feedback we have received. Our property is clean and tidy, which is better than most that I have personally stayed at. Again we appreciate your feedback and will take this onboard for future guests.

Excellent house for our requirements (only overnighted) and would be ideal for longer stays. Lots of room. Excellent location. Big outdoors area, would have liked the chance to use spa and bbq facilities. Maybe next time. Easy directions for access and departing, owners were so good to deal with. Went above and beyond to return some belongings I left behind - thank you. Would recommend highly.

Fabulous House

A fantastic place to stay with family. Was really impressed with the amount of space and the great secure outdoor area, plenty of provisions also. Really lovely quiet area. Our only negative was the pillows, but we wouldn't let that stop us from staying there again. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.
