We had a lovely mountain vacation with our four children in this awesome cabin! One of the neatest houses we've ever stayed in, perfect log cabin atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed backing up to the forest, the hot tub, and the cozy atmosphere. The house had tons to offer including toys, puzzles, games, and books. Lots of extra bedding and a well-stocked kitchen. Overall awesome experience, would definitely book again!

A beautiful house right that sit against the Lincoln National forest and allows you to see the beauty of God’s creation in both the wood in the house and the beauty of the trees and animals outside. It was a feast for the eyes, a place to renew the soul, and a wonderful location to enjoy time with family and time walking the trails. The history of the place, written by the owners, added delight to the beauty of the Canadian logs and the warmth of the wood in the house.

We absolutely loved our stay. My aging parents definitely had a hard time with the stairs to get in and out, but with help they were fine. We loved being right next to the forest.

Wonderful home with amazing views. It had everything for our family ages 5-75 to be entertained. The 10 year old asked if it was a new house since it was so clean! Deer & elk came by as we drank coffee outside it morning. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after days of walking trails behind house, short drive to sled White Sands, or walking to/thru Cloudcroft. None of us had any complaints.

Loved the location. Backyard is next to trails in the forest. Careful of the native wild horses..ha tho the dominant one let us know we were close enough. Log cabin was cozy & perfect! Kids fed deer & even petted a few of them while feeding off the back deck. Ended each day in the relaxing hot tub.

The house was incredible. Impeccably clean, and well maintained. The host was very helpful. There was even a guide to the city that included their family’s story and how the cabin was built. 10/10. Hands down best Vrbo experience we’ve ever had.

Beautiful cabin with everything you need. Very clean. Great for school age kids and dog friendly. We especially enjoyed the trail right outside the back door and listening to the elk bugle at night. The location was great. We would definitely recommend, and plan to stay here again in the future.
