Excellent, roomy accommodation near Mornington. Well equipped kitchen and a spa bath. The welcome box of cereals, biscuits and spreads was a nice touch rarely seen. Recommend it highly.

Host was very welcoming and property was clean and comfortable. But, there were 2 maintenance issues:- The kitchen tap/mixer was very loose and needed to be operated with 2 hands. The range hood was very noisy - fan appears to be rubbing on something and light was not working. Overall, I was pleased with experience and would recommend to property to others.

Comfy practical easy abide for few nights stay

Perfect for short term visit seeing family. My sister and I visited from Sydney and overall suited our needs. Few minor pain points: 1) bathroom fixtures loose and unable to hang towel/flannel for fear of breakage (towela draped everwhere) 2) one mirror higly impractical for 2 guests and only in bathroom 3) TV unworkable and ended up not using as limit of 2 'working' channels 4) No normal oven - glass oven in pantry filthy and unable to be used by us as both coeliacs and risk of gluten contamination. Minor issues that did not impact stay for 2 women but other family members/entourage would find problematic. Regardless of above, overall very happy with our accommodation 'find' for next time. Thank you :)

The overall unit was clean and neat. Very beautiful place. We got upgraded to the dolphin suite and it was very nice having the whole top floor. Spa bath was very nice and super deep/spacious. It had a very basic kitchenette which was more than fine for our 2 night stay. Woolworths/shopping centre located less than a 5 minute drive away, super convenient!

The only thing that I thought could be better is that the coffee plunger is falling apart and was frustrating trying to make coffee and that the TV in bedroom control were not working, possibly flat battery, could not switch the tv on, the rest was perfect and I will come back for sure, Thank you for the biscuits Wicus and Trisha

The apartment was cosy and perfect for a couples getaway. Bedroom was perfect size and the bed was very comfy. The spa was amazing! The kitchen had everything you needed including fresh milk and butter. Thank you to the owners for the hamper on arrival. Would highly recommend!

Very cosy and private. However there was a lot of noise from the powder room. The tenants constantly went in to use the dyer and washing machine which was left on the whole time during our stay.

Perfect Holiday Spot

Such a great little property - perfect for our little family. We had a wonderful stay. So accessible to the private beach with was stunning and easy to get to both Mornington and Mount Martha. The property itself felt very private and worked really well with young kids (which isn't always easy to find). It was really clean and fresh. Couldn't want for any more! Hopefully we will be back.

Everything we needed

We stayed in The Getaway suite over Xmas 2016. Accommodation was well appointed and within a 5 minute drive to the local shops, cafes and wonderful beaches. The accommodation itself was lovely with everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen and full size fridge. There is shared laundry on site which also came in handy for washing beach towels. Lots of magazines and games if you don't feel like heading out. The space was big enough to accommodate 2 adults. We ate all our meals outside which was great as while we were there it was hot hot hot!! The split system was much appreciated. Carolyn and Phil were very accommodating hosts and easy to communicate with. This just makes the process all the more easier.
