This is a very unique opportunity to live in a quiet Penthouse walking distance to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum with air conditioning, newly remodeled kitchen, 2 large private panoramic terraces in a beautiful building with an elevator and just steps from all of Ancient and Renaissance Rome. This area is located in the Ancient Golden triangle of Rome, comprising the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palace of Nerone. Also within walking distance is the Presidential Palace, one home of the Pope’s, facing the beautiful Piazza conceived and completed by Michelangelo. The area of Monti itself is the modern day remains of the Suburra, one of the most populated areas of Ancient Rome that was located just beyond the grand walls of Cesar’s Forum. Today, Monti is the most sought after neighborhood by Romans, with its many boutiques, restaurants, bars and winding Renaissance streets twisting around to little Piazza’s and vibrant side streets packed with many shops and cafés.
A stroll to the Colosseum, the undisputed symbol of Rome and a marvel of the Ancient World and the Roman Forum, perhaps the largest, best preserved archeological monument in the Modern world is just a short walk. The Monumental Basicilia of Santa Maria Maggiore and the ancient Santa Prassade are just steps away. This is truly Rome’s most characteristic and exciting area, with an uncompromising choice of monuments within walking distance. Shop at the daily fresh market in Monti or dine out in the Historic Quarter, walk to the Forum, the Colosseum and the Jewish Quarter. Also close to the Historic Center’s main metro, Train and transport hub with express trains to the airport. Well serviced, there are also a number of supermarkets, gyms and shops nearby. Truly an excellent location and an oasis of quiet and beauty from which to explore Rome's multilayered historical district.

This apartment was one of the things that added to how lovely our stay in Rome was.
Great location. Beautiful outdoor space. Ample room for the four of us. Lovely host.
Would recommend.
This is a fabulous apartment, big enough for my whole family if we had brought them, lol. Would definitely stay there again, the apartment manager was great.
This place was everything we needed for our family to stay in Rome. It was in a great location near some of the main attractions of the city, and the rooftop terrace was a great outdoor space to have. The apartment was very spacious even with 6 people, and had nice AC units to help with the summer heat. Highly recommend staying here!
After two weeks of traveling in Italy we landed in Rome for our final four days. This property was by far the most charming and welcoming. Majk and Valeria were so accommodating and responsive to all our needs.
The terrace was our gathering place in which we ate, socialized and found our quiet time. It was a beautiful finale!
Apartment was just as described... Clean, spacious, 2 nice terraces with beautiful views of Rome.. Beds were comfy & clean... There is a small elevator to get you to the 4th floor, but you still have to take narrow stairwindystaors
Great location!!!! . Walkable distance to most of the main attractions. Awesome patio. Great living room and rooms layout. Love our stay. One of the ac was not working in one of the room. We would have love to have some fans in the rooms since Rome was very hot during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we have a chance to visit Rome again.

Thanks Susan for your nice review, it was a pleasure to host you!
This summer was particurarly hot, we are definately going to put some more fans and the AC has been fixed after your check out.
We would love to host you again!
The stairs leading up to the penthouse are dirty. This leaves a negative first impression. The apartment itself is clean but the two terraces also need to be cleaned and de clutter.

Dear Janet,
I'm sorry if your experience in out apartment was not a 5 star one.
We always meet and assist our guests during the check in procedures and, before each arrival we check that both the apartment and terrace are in order. Also we are always available during your stay in case of need, so we could have sent our cleaning lady to re clean the apartment and terrace if you asked for it. In particular the stair cleaning is something that belongs to the condo adminastration, but if you pointed it out during your stay, we would have sent our cleaning lady also for that issue.
Beside this we were happy to have you as guests.
This apartment is very large, perfect for a family. I would not recommend it for multiple couples however because there is only one actual isolated bedroom. There is a room with two single beds adjoined with another large bedroom that share a bathroom. That’s great for a family with children
The apartment is really cool and as a penthouse, it’s all the way at the top of the building, but there are two flights of stairs that you have to bring your luggage up as there is no elevator to the penthouse. You could take the elevator to the fourth floor and then you have to walk up one more Story. The apartment can use a little TLC on the terraces and in some other areas, particularly with the awnings and furniture outside.
That, it was a fantastic place for me and my family to stay while in Rome. Walking distance to the Colosseum and forum Was no problem
