Cute cottage in a fantastic location. Close to dining, shops, coastal walk and across the road from the water. Takes me back to old school family holidays where the focus was on holiday fun not the four walls surrounding us.
We were pretty happy with our stay, the house had a charming/quirky quality about it that we loved, and it was close to everything.
Communication with Jackie was a breeze.
This property was perfect. The location is within walking distance of the townsite and the beach. The sunset and the sunrise from the deck was magical. The home itself was perfectly described on the advertisement. I would highly recommend this stay!
The property is set on a large block located in the heart of Dunsborough overlooking Dunsborough beach and Centennial park.
This property is large enough to accommodate 2 families with children and fur babies.
The house has a coastal holiday home feel complete with fireplace and includes all the requirements for holidays - board games TV and decking area out the front to enjoy food and drinks at sunset.
Our family of 4 ( 2 adults & 2 young children) will definitely be back again.
Thank you for allowing us to make memories in this home.
My one issue was that I needed to do a business meeting on day one and the connection made it impossible. This was really stressful but luckily, being so close to town and the beach I was able to eventually turn off and chill out. I'm glad I didn't plan to do more work while there anyway.

Perfect location
Perfect location, everything you need for a basic stay, nothing glamorous. Disappointed in the quality of the bedding, stripping the bed as requested on departure, the doona was, for lack of a better word, disgustingly dirty. Shower head needs attention also, kept falling down. Minor improvements needed.

Hi Tanja,
Thank you we appreciate your feedback. Our sincere apologies for the state of the doona, and the shower head. We had a new shower installed last year, however, we will address these matters.
Great for a low key holiday. It would be unpleasant in hot weather as anything 30 degrees or above and the shack is very hot, however the lack of insulation means it cools down over night. Superficially clean but delve into the cupboard under the sink to retrieve anything and it is full of cobwebs. Could do with a good spring clean. QS bed in back room is very soft and saggy in middle. Other beds in main shack section are fine. The best thing is the location.
We loved the location and the quirky little cottage made for a fun getaway. Unfortunately, the bed in the main bedroom was not fabulous for my husband back. So, on the second night we moved the mattress of the bed base onto the floor. We were shocked to see a horrible looking brown stain on the mattress. The mattress is obviously old and dirty. For the large amount we paid for cleaning and for the two nights I believe that we could expect a clean mattress. Though putting the mattress on the floor did help with my husband back issue.

Hi Sally
Thank you for your honest review.
We were unaware of the large stain on the mattress, however we should have been.
We have since made arrangement to replace the mattresses.
We had a fabulous time in this property on our family getaway! It is located right opposite parkland and the bay! Perfect!
This is a holiday home reminiscent of years gone by…if you want fabulous location this us the place for you. If you want luxury accommodation keep looking!
We loved it!
Perfect for us - nothing too precious. Very close to beach and town centre - no need to drive anywhere. We used the outdoor shower, shady deck and BBQ every day.
