The "Love Shack" A Quiet Pet Friendly Home

The Love Shack offers 3 bedrooms with enough bedding for two families or a boys’/girls’ getaway.

Bedrooms

Main bedroom: Queen bed, built-in robes, ceiling fan and air conditioning

Second bedroom: Queen bed

Third bedroom: Bunk with a double on the bottom and single on top

Pedestal fans provided for two rooms

Sofa bed in the lounge (folds down to a double)

Kitchen & Living
The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooktop and oven, microwave, sandwich press, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery and drinkware.
The lounge seats 6 comfortably, the dining table seats 4, and additional outdoor dining is available under the veranda.
Lounge and kitchen areas are air conditioned.

Entertainment includes a TV, DVD player, MP3/Bluetooth player and board games for family fun.

Relax & Enjoy
Start your morning on the front deck at the two-seater table, soaking up the sunshine.
In the afternoon, unwind under the back veranda with a quiet drink while the kids enjoy the garden.
Cook in the shaded BBQ area.
Just a short walk to the beach—well known for crabbing—or take a 5-minute drive to Ardrossan for jetty fishing.
Tiddy Widdy is also only 45 minutes from Moonta Water Park, a great day out for the kids.

Pet Friendly
The Love Shack welcomes pets. The enclosed backyard keeps them safe, and pets may sleep in the utility room (bed provided or bring your own).
Please keep all pets outside the house at all times.
If pets are found to have been inside, the security deposit will not be refunded—no exceptions.

Linen
Please bring your own sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases, towels, bath mats & tea towels.

Pillows, quilts and a few blankets are provided in the main bedrooms.

If you would like supplied linen, please let me know and I will send details of who we use.

Comfortable, homely, 3 bedroom cottage.

Very quiet location. Nearby friendly small town a minutes drive away with supermarket, post office, fuel, several eateries (pub, bakery, chinese, seafood), doctor, pharmacy. Several easy walking trails nearby.

Good accommodation

It’s a nice place to stay at for a family holiday. Good entertainment for the kids and it’s a basic property so good for toddlers as well. Everything is in working order. Just need to remember to pack your basic stuff like towels and any type of bedding. Will definitely look into staying again.

Peaceful getaway

Tiddy Widdy is a charming little sea side town perfect for rest and relaxation. We enjoyed our stay at the “love shack” ocean view from the front deck and plenty of space for everyone. Just a short stroll to the beach 😊

When we walked in house smelt. If it wasn’t Xmas Eve ( having Xmas with family up there,)we would have left, but thought opening up house would have got rid of smell. Day after we realised dead mouse smell and got worse. We left 8.00, in morning as we both felt sick 😷 from stink. Backyard very over grown, not good for any family with young children.

Would I recommend? Yes! Here's our experience. Communication & arrival: We arrived in the rain (no undercover parking) to find the keys are locked in a box and we need a code. The owners welcome message had no reference to any code and when I reached out they told me to find it online .. the Yorke Peninsula isn't exactly known for it's blistering internet speeds so this was a bit frustrating. The Place: The house itself is cozy, no frills, we thought it was great. Needs some minor maintenance though. The hot water is leaking from behind the laundry tap. The decking in the lovely BBQ area needs to be replaced, it's breaking up and is a hazard. We noticed the beautiful peach tree in the backyard attracts mice. The trees by the driveway are overgrown and traumatized my innocent car mirror. All minor, but there's some safety concerns in there. The outdoor area is defs the highlight. Location Great. Couldn't be better. Beautiful even in cooler weather, very relaxing spot. The neighbour in the big house didn't relax however, he revved his machinery loudly and often on the public holiday weekend like a silly goose avoiding his wife. A good samaritan eventually asked him to stop. Overall it's a nice quiet spot near a quiet beach, with Ardrossan right there.. it's great value.
