We had a great stay with family & friends. The property is a short walk to the beach and a nice stroll into Rye Main Street. Lots of space for the kids to play outside and the kids loved the pool table. Highly recommend for family stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great for Melbourne (Victorian) weather. If the weather was warm, it is a short walk to the beach. If the weather is not so warm, as was the case for our stay, it has a pool table and fireplace.
The house is very well maintained and the kitchen is extremely well decked out with cooking implements, dishes, glasses etc.
Keryn answered all queries very quickly.
We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this house.

Everything you need in great location and perfect for pets.
The property is in a very good location although the street is quite busy at times. The house is well-equipped in terms of amenities and has a great layout. The backyard is large and is perfect for children and/or pets. The pre-stay cleaning is generally good but more attention to windows, doors and clearing spiderwebs would be preferable as we had to spend time doing this ourselves upon arrival.The owner responds promptly to messages/queries to make your stay easy. We have already stayed here twice as it is comfortable, well equipped, in a great location and is great for pets. I would definitely recommend it for a great holiday in Rye.

Thanks for choosing to stay again this year and glad to know you it suited your needs perfectly. You’re right, cobwebs have noticeably increased this year with the humid weather due to La Niña, everyone on the Peninsula is commenting. Its a constant battle sweeping the webs off the house as you've discovered! Also the council in its wisdom chose to undergo roadworks during peak holiday season (the week of your stay) which temporarily diverted extra traffic onto back roads. All good now though and back to normal.
This is a lovely property, well-appointed for family trips. Plenty of room for everyone to spend time together inside and out in the backyard.
Furniture and beds were clean, fresh, and comfortable. Linen and towels were good quality. The bathrooms were nicely presented and the bath was lovely (we left some bubble bath in the cupboard for another family to enjoy :) ). The yard was secure and roomy for our dog, who also enjoyed a relaxing holiday. The studio was a nice extra space to relax and read in, while enjoying the cool sea breeze.
Great to have more than enough tea towels, plates, glasses, mugs, saucepans etc so we weren't washing up all the time and were able to self cater for our diverse family food requirements. The plunger for coffee was much appreciated. All appliances worked well, with enough soap etc to use for our needs, making for a relaxing holiday.
The Billiard table was also great fun. Only the wifi was a bit iffy at times.
A really lovely, comfortable holiday house that supported a great holiday after two years of pandemic lockdowns.

It seems you are a first time traveller so perhaps were unaware of some standard exclusions for the area. It’s always wise to read and understand the description and details as these items you mention are clearly stated a number of times in the listing. I specifically asked you about linen etc before your stay and you chose to BYO.
We decided to find somewhere to spend Easter with our extended family. This holiday home exceeded everyone’s expectations. The place was beautiful and clean, with everything that is needed. The kitchen had all supplies needed for cooking all our meals there. The back yard was the perfect area for everyone to relax and unwind.
Everyone really enjoyed the stay and the house itself.

We rented this property for Christmas and New Years, the location is perfect! Easy walk to the beach, great kitchen, easy to prepare food in even for special occasions, plenty of space for us all.

A successful holiday
This is a beautifully appointed home. The kitchen is amazing! We had three family groupings - parents and the families of two children - who needed to rub along and this was made much easier here. Plenty of living space, three toilets, big back yard - it made a big difference. The house really is very close to a lovely safe beach. We loved it and hope to return. Keryn was helpful and accommodating too.

BBQ got an extensive workout as did the pool table which was a hit with all family members. Easily housed 2 families and the dogs loved the big backyard

Mornington peninsula has so much to offer and is very accessible. This property is a dream to stay in as it’s clean, light filled and open plan. The backyard is perfect for bbqs and lazing on the grass. I love how it’s so close to the beach, just a short walk with no hills.
