Windsors Edge Rothbury Cottage is located on 125 acres in the heart of the Hunter wine region with magnificent bush and country views over to the stunning Brokenback Range.

The cottage has 2 queen bedrooms sharing a spacious bathroom with shower and large two person spa bath (separate toilet). The light and airy kitchen/diner is equipped with electric stove top (no oven), microwave, Nespresso machine, large fridge/freezer and plenty of dining space. The comfy lounge area has a slow combustion wood fire for those winter months with firewood provided and reverse cycle air-conditioning for all year round comfort. On your private verandah you will find a gas barbeque and outdoor setting to enjoy the view of our resident family of kangaroos whilst enjoying a pre-dinner drink.

Without leaving the estate you can stroll the estate, enjoying the vineyard views and finishing the day with a tasting of some award winning wines at the Ballabourneen cellar door. Eating out is easy, with the renowned Amanda's on the Edge an easy walk from your cottage.

WiFi is currently not available at the property, however please bring your own personal device as there is great Telstra coverage at the Estate.

Windsors Edge Estate consists of 2 x 2 bedrooms cottages, a large 5 bedroom residence, a 4 bedroom homestead (all completely private), a cellar door and the fantastic Amandas on the Edge restaurant, all nestled in their own quiet secluded spot overlooking Rothbury creek and the vineyards.

Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.

Great romantic accommodation

Rothbury Cottage was a lovely place to stay. Warm with the wood fire and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The kitchen is well equipped and also has a coffee pod machine with pods supplied. We enjoyed our welcome bottle of wine by the fire. I couldn’t recommend Rothbury cottage more. We didn’t go anywhere but just relaxed with the view, the peacefulness and the company.

So glad we found WINSDORS EDGE. It was perfect for us. We were looking for private and secluded and it didnt disappoint A great 2 bedroom cottage with Views of outdoors from each room & living area. Clean, comfortable and relaxing aspect. Outdoors seating area great to sit and enjoy a cold drink while you look onto part of the property. Very central location close to wineries and especially Bimbadgen winery (5mins drive) where we went to watch A DAY ON THE GREENS CONCERT. Kieran liased with us regarding arrangements and booking, and was more than happy to answer any of our questions. Will definitely be back.

A nice few days

I found the accommodation quite adequate. I was surprised that there was a spa bath as there were notices about careful use of water. There was a lot of emphasis placed on how to leave the place. I received two SMS messages on the morning of my departure, the first one said I had to be out at 11 am and the second said 10 am. Both messages with instructions on how to leave the lights, rubbish etc. I thought this was rather overkill as there were instructions in the unit as well. I realise some people may not read information but maybe this is due to previous clientele.

we stayed for a few nights in th pokolbin cottage with our 15month old. We had a great stay, we particularly appreciated having the portacot and high chair supplied. There is plenty of space for kids to play safely outside. We also loved that we could walk to the restaurant and to Blueberry Hill Winery.
