5 minute walk to Margaret River's "classic" Main Street. 1 minute walk to Margaret River's famous "Margaret River Bakery". 30 second walk to the wonderful "Swings" Enjoy a warm and welcoming home in the middle of Margaret River. Minutes from all this little country town has to offer, make “The Veggie Patch” your own, where you can relax after a day’s surf, winery tasting, mountain biking or whatever it is you choose to do during your visit. Lay on the sun bed and enjoy a good glass of local wine in the courtyard or outdoor bath! Does that sound like a good plan?
The Space
This charming townhouse has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs.
The lounge room, kitchen, laundry and 2nd toilet are downstairs.
The lounge room opens directly onto the private courtyard, complete with veggie patch and outdoor bath!
The kitchen is a good size and is equipped with all cooking equipment.
Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds.

A good base

Lets face it with so much to see and do in the area this is a great base to start from each day. Location is great and the place is as advertised.

Lovely stay just a couple things we wish we knew

This stay was really lovely! The house was extremely homey and had everything you needed for a wonderful stay! The queen bed was extremely comfortable and fans are provided as it does get quite warm upstairs but not unbearable! Shower ammenities are not provided so definitely bring your own if you’re planning on staying longer than a night! You are really close to town and close to the Margaret river brewing co, lovely for lunch and dinner! Something we wish we knew before booking was there a multiple properties on the block so you are not completely alone, there is a shared space for parking and you can see the back door of the other house! As well as this the garden with the outside bath is not well closed off as there is a gate so people can see in! Besides this everything was lovely and management was very communicative and helpful!

Great place to stay. Central to town centre. House has everything you need. House is a lot smaller that the advertising pictures depict. Outdoor cushions Condition not good and need to be replaced. Chiminea missing. Overall good and affordable stay.

Excellent location and very comfy space

Had a wonderful stay with my partner, the beds were absolutely wonderful (one firm one soft so you can choose!) With heaters provided in both rooms. Great space and the tv quality excellent. Thick blinds on all windows for privacy was lovely and a cute garden which would be lovely to enjoy in summer. Other than some wear and tear issues which property manager responded to very positively, our stay was effortless with a prime spot easy walk to iga, Coles, Margaret River Brewhouse, a bush walk trail, plenty of eateries and excellent parking! Check-in and checkout were straight forward and would love to return again for sure.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This was the perfect place to stay with some friends for a little down south getaway to the beautiful town of Margaret River! So glad we opted for an in-town location as it gave us the freedom to wander around the town (despite the current extreme roadworks) without needing to worry about driving the car. The property itself could do with a little TLC due to some wear & tear but nothing major that ruined our trip; the property itself was clean, the hosts were super easy to contact and the outdoor area was perfect for some local wines and cheeses as the sun set! Would stay here again no problems!

Convenient location in Margaret River

The unit was lovely, and well positioned to stroll into Margaret River's main shopping area or to the forest. Both nights were quite noisy (neighbours revving cars and ... chopping wood? ... at odd hours. Beds were comfortable.

Great convenient stay

Lovely location!

Veggie Patch offers a handy location in the heart of Margaret River. (Walking distance to a lovely bakery/cafe!). The town house is nice even though there were a few things that need fixing such as a bedroom door handle which kept falling down. I also thought the kitchen needed a few more utensils/pans. Communication with the owners/manager was excellent!

Location

This property is located walking distance to all shops, cafes etc on the margaret river main strip. The house was a great size with all bedrooms upstairs and living dining and courtyard down. Only negative is the house does not have heating or cooling upstairs for the bedrooms.

Great little townhouse

Had a great time staying at this pretty townhouse. Very convenient, just a few short steps to Main Street and bakery! Lovely little touches everywhere such as games and books! Definitely recommend this place and will stay again!

Lovely Accommodation Close to Everything

Excellently decorated and had a very comfortable feel to it. The duplo tub was very much appreciated and well played with - my kids had a ball. Walking distance to everything made it the perfect spot to stay. We will definitely come again.

Ants Infestation

The property was really nicely presented, the problem we had was the Ants!!! We noticed them outside the front door and then they appeared in the kitchen, lounge area, stairs, hallway, bedrooms and bathrooms. They were even in the beds! - not nice. Also, on our last night, the smoke alarm battery started bleeping.

Great property and location!

We loved our stay at the Veggie Patch! Super close to the Margaret River city centre and convenient for shopping and everyday needs. The property could be a little more maintained as there were weeds and cobwebs outside but other than that cleanliness was pretty spot on! Will be back for sure!

Beautiful and comfortable home! perfect location

We were a bit hesitant to book the Veggie Patch as it didn’t have any Stayz reviews but we were so happy we did. The location is perfect, only a short walk to the Bakery and lots of different cafes, restaurants and art galleries. The house is newly renovated and the furniture is beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable and the little balconies make you feel like you’re away from it all. Very easy to find and even nicer than the pictures. We helped ourselves to some basil, rosemary and beans from the garden. Dee was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had before our arrival. We will be back again and again and again!

We all live with our families in Margaret River and manage houses in Margaret River, Prevelly and Gracetown. We love living in Margaret River and wake up everyday feeling like we are "Living the dream Down South".
We love our region and enjoy getting involved in all that our community has to offer - you will often find us visiting the local Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, drinking coffee at one of our favourite local Cafés (Egberts or White Elephant), joining a Walk Talk Taste Tour of our town's best restaurants & bars, visiting one of our many cellar doors to purchase some local wine or spending a whole day at the beach with the kids!
We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy all our great region has to offer and at Swell Stays we understand the importance of cleanliness and customer service, which in turn creates the perfect holiday experience for our guests.
