About this property

Ballan country escape - 4br, beautiful garden & cosy

Situated in Ballan, close to station, shops, Ballarat and Daylesford.
2 Sparkling bathrooms, fully equipped galley kitchen with Blanco appliances, 4br, 2 living areas, massive deck with views across river valley.
Expansive established garden, heating, linen, towels provided for your enjoyment.

Our home is architect designed with masses of light and windows, with peaceful views onto the garden and lush golf course.
The central living space has Tom Dixon lights, Eames dining table, lounge with comfy couches, DVD player & TV. There is also NBN wifi :) yay!
There are 4 bedrooms (1 with in-built laptop desk) and a sparkling shared family bathroom with shower and large bath. There are plush towels for your bathing enjoyment.
The master suite and second bedroom are at the opposite end of the house to the other bedrooms. They share an ensuite.
The house sleeps up to 8, in 7 beds. Please contact us to discuss your bedding requirements as there are a range of options.
The kitchen is equipped with Blanco appliances, walk in pantry, & microwave. Off the kitchen is a tiled lounge room, laundry with washing machine and boot room.
The living areas open up onto a massive covered wooden deck with large wooden outdoor setting & BBQ.
Our front garden is great for playing games in and the backyard has plenty of exploring opportunities!
With the farmers & Lions markets in town, good coffee and proximity to Mill Rose quilting mecca, Daylesford, Ballarat and the golf course & Ballan pool, we're sure you'll find plenty of reasons to extend your stay in Ballan!

Fantastic Property

This was one of the best Stayz Properties we have stayed at. The house was as pictured, very clean, spacious, great kitchen & relatively close to Ballarat, Daylesford & with good access to the freeway into Melbourne. We would recommend this property to anyone, from a couple looking for a quiet weekend or a family getting away from it all with access to a wide variety of activities. Spacious Ballan Home

We opened the door to find the house was lovely and warm. The heater had been put on prior to our arrival. As I am from Queensland and not used to the cold, this was just perfect. And as an added bonus there were heated towel rails! We didn't need to touch the heating system as it was already on the ideal setting for our entire stay. The house is in an ideal location and is set well back from the road. It was very quiet and peaceful. All the amenities we needed were provided. I would definitely recommend this house to others wanting a quiet stay in Ballan.

Problems with toilet not flushing on arrival, Kirsty sent plumber on request. We had a stranger knocking on the door insisting that he knew Paul and Kirsty and insisting that mail had been left at the house for him. We had a 9 night stay and thought the linen would have been changed mid way thru. Not all hobs on gas stove were working. We had issues with TV, Stove and washing machine and oven, need to leave manuals for all appliances, as not everyone is tech savvy. In saying all of that, the house was roomy and spacious and we still had a pleasant stay and Kirsty was pleasant and accommodating.

Very comfortable stay

Large and comfortable house with a great rear deck to relax and chill. The house easily accommodates 8 adults and we certainly enjoyed our stay, using it as a base to visit nearby Daylesford, Ballarat, Smeaton and Clunes. The hosts, Kirsty and Paul, had kindly left a small Christmas tree decorated with baubles and had preset the dining table complete with Christmas crackers for our arrival on Christmas Day. The place has an Aldi coffee machine and the hosts had thoughtfully left a good stock of coffee pods for us. The temperature in the house is very well regulated, there’s a dishwasher, oven, microwave and a combo washing machine/dryer - all the conveniences of home and more; so really it makes for a stress-free stay. The home includes a good selection of DVDs, interesting books and board games as well. Being the Christmas/New Year period, many businesses in Ballan was closed, but the IGA and the local bakery were open. The bakery makes very good pies and vanilla slice. We would be happy to stay again.

Titoko Family Reunion & 21st Birthday

Such a welcoming beautiful home for our elder guests to come back to and settle down after travelling from NZ they felt spoilt to have this accommodation and so close to our main 21st / Reunion venue nearby with all the wet cold wheather and mud about....but a lovely weekend had by all.

Fantastic house

We had a wonderful weekend. The house is large and so quiet. Most of the time was spent relaxing in the house and on the lovely big deck with gorgeous views of the garden and the golf course. Really lovely.

Excellent property for a country escape.

It delivers all that it promises. Spacious and clean and better than comfortable. Effortless meal prep and cooking in a well equipped kitchen. Ample basic supplies. Impressive front garden, pleasant backyard views. Helpful and accomodating owners providing good customer service.
