"The Studio" is a spacious, peaceful and self-contained retreat with a large open plan dining/living and optional sleeping space as well as two good-sized bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower, a separate powder room/toilet and a laundry cupboard. With a fully equipped kitchen, espresso machine, huge dining table, wi-fi, and a 75 inch TV. Relax on the 3-seater sofas with a book or DVD from extensive collection. Guests can enjoy a game of table tennis, a BBQ, or a bounce on the trampoline.
"The Studio" is set at the rear of our large block and nestled amongst the fruit trees with plenty of off street parking. It is an eco-friendly house, designed and built by Andrew a few years ago. Eco features are the double-glazing, solar power, north-facing windows and maximum insulation. One bedroom has a queen size bed, a chest of drawers and a built in wardrobe. The other bedroom has two king single beds, a Queen sized bed, a chest of drawers and a clothes rack. A portacot is available and can be set up in either bedroom if required but you will need your own linen/blankets for this. Each bedroom has reverse cycle air conditioning as does the main studio room. If required, one end of the studio room can be set up with a Queen sized bed behind a privacy screen.
The floor plan in the photos shows the layout of "The Studio" and the dimensions with the main Studio room itself being around 60 square metres and the entire building is around 135 square metres.
"The Studio" is a self-catering stay with some basic breakfast provisions supplied to get you started: cereals, milk, tea and coffee.
Strictly no parties or other events are permitted to be held at "The Studio".
Up to two dogs are permitted to stay but must not be left unattended on the property. We have two dogs that are friendly to people and other dogs so please ensure your dogs are also well socialised in case they are in the backyard at the same time. The property is fenced and gated but in some places the fence is low so it would not suit a dog that likes to jump and escape.
The entire Studio and the surrounding garden is accessible to guests. The space is very private with the Studio being set about 90 metres away from the main residence. Also, only one booking/group at a time can stay at "The Studio". Off-street parking is available for several vehicles.
Andrew and Sue live in another house on the property and are usually around to assist if needed. Consider making your visit to The Studio a chance to benefit from some natural therapies with a homeopathy session by Andrew and kinesiology by Sue. A detoxifying oil massage is also available. You could also book Andrew for a portrait photography session. It is best to let us know in advance of your visit if you would like to take up any of these options.

Andrew was very accommodating and prompt when asked questions The Studio was clean and comfortable and the shower was amazingClose to town if you are looking for a meal or groceries to take back to the StudioThank you again Andrew
Very spacious rooms and good services. The table tennis table is always a hit with the generations who come to visit while we stay there. A bit of an issue with the oven but Andrew attended to the problem immediately.A quiet location. Hope to stay again soon
We loved staying at the Studio. It was clean and spacious. Easy to find, checking in was easy. Exactly as described and we would live to stay again. Andrew was very helpful.
This property is beautifully appointed with lots of room for 8 people to stretch out and relax, get a sense of calm and regrouping which is exactly what our group needed
Stayed for 3 nights, but should've stayed longer. Nice and clean, with everything supplied for a self stay. Lovely fenced property off the main road, and the gardens/trees are a pleasure to view over a morning coffee. Beds comfy, modern amenities with plenty of room in both bedrooms and family/dining/kitchen.
We needed somewhere to stay near our family. Perfect position and very quiet. Beautifully presented, with little extras for the client. Will certainly recommend The Studio.
We had a great stay at the studio. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 and everything was clean, organised and comfortable. The large kitchen and excellent air conditioning was especially appreciated. Thanks Andrew :)
We had a great stay at the studio, it had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable and it had a great undercover area at the back of house to eat our breakfast, relax and take in the property views, Andrew the host communicated with us to make sure we had a great stay, the property is very close to town, if we’re ever in the area, again I’ll definitely be looking up this property again
Clean, spacious. Has plenty of things to keep the kids occupied Inc table tennis table, basketball hoops, trampoline and videos, it's the 2nd time we've been here
It was a lovely place to stay. We had a group of six adults, a baby and a ten year old. The kitchen was well equipped, gas stove, lovely big space, lots of light, and comfortable beds. A bit of a drive to get to from Melton but well and truly worth the drive💕 Garden was a nice addition, along with the trampoline and the morning visit from the dog.
Excellent property and service. Never any hassles, will work to any issues raised providing a solution each time. After any trip away from property, coming back is likened to walking in the door at home. Thanks as always.
Returned to stay @The Studio for a Convention in Melton. It is just a lovely place to stay. Everything is there. Fantastic surroundings with easy access to Freeway and also Bacchus Marsh. Nice little visit from the dogs during the visit topped the weekend off. Thanks again guys, I hope the plug doesn't mean we don't get to book again. 😂😂
The studio is generous in size and comfort. It was a great meeting place for our family who live in Bacchus and the teenagers enjoyed playing table tennis. It was interesting to be amongst the property orchard and watch their dog round up their free range chooks. The location is convenient to the community of Bacchus Marsh and interesting local towns and villages. Although very near to a freeway and busy main roads we were never troubled by traffic noise. We stayed for seven nights and happily recommend this accommodation.

Why they chose this property
The Studio is ideal for families, groups or couples with plenty of space and plenty of privacy. It's set among the gum trees with lots of plum trees (and other fruit trees too!) The modern and contemporary style allows for a very comfortable stay. And the well designed eco-features keep it cool in Summer and warm in Winter with reverse cycle air-con to help when needed.
