Entertaining paradise with the outdoor BBQ area (undercover), with landscaped gardens or take them up to the balcony with fresh seafood from the locals.

LOCATION

Culburra Beach is conveniently positioned 15 minutes from Nowra, 2 hours from Sydney and 3 hours from Canberra. Culburra is famous for its lake, beaches, swimming, fishing, surfing, kite surfing, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and boating (boat ramp close to beach house).

Culburra comprises two beaches (Culburra Beach and Warrain Beach) and is neighboured by Crookhaven Head and Penguin Head, South of Shoalhaven River with Wollumboola Lake to its South.

Haven Street has easy access to shops and services includes; coffee shops, tennis court, bowling club, hairdresser, beautician, food retailers, supermarket (Woolworths), petrol station etc.

The property is located 350 metres from Tilbury Reserve park which has children swings and playground with BBQ.

TOURIST INFORMATION

One of the main attractions of this area is the watching of Dolphins and Whales, Humpback Whales are most commonly seen, which are usually sighted during the months of June to November. Other species of Whales have been sighted ; Southern Right-Whales, False Killer Whales, Orcas, Mike Whales and on rare occasions the Blue Whale.

The choice of water sports is wide and many people come to scuba dive, snorkel, fish and explore these famous waters.

Coastal, marine and hinterland National Parks offer fantastic bushwalking, cycling tracks, indigenous culture, camping spots, cliff-top lookouts and maritime heritage. See kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats and many rare bird and animal species in the wild.

Unspoiled coastal and country villages have local produce markets, boutique shops, art galleries and a terrific museum. The area boasts world-class cafes, restaurants, pubs & wine bars.

This home has been set up as our own personal family holiday house. Therefore, it is always fully appointed in every area and ready to move in and enjoy your holiday.

‘Beach Haven’ is located at the southern end of Culburra beach and less than one minutes walk to the summer patrolled beach and Tilbury Cove (children’s swimming beach).
