Alison was a great host, very responsive to our every need and question. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The sunsets from the back deck were amazing. Kitchen well stocked and very good linens. I will definitely stay again.

Thank you Deborah it was lovely to meet you both, hope you’re able to come back again soon.
A lovely spacious and comfortable bungalow. Very well appointed in a rural setting with great sunsets. Extremely friendly host family who made us feel very welcome. A 15 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute drive to Aldinga shops etc. Plenty of good restaurants, wineries, hiking opportunities and wildlife nearby.
Aldinga Bay Bungalows was a great place to relax and unwind. It’s only a short walk along Button Rd to a beautiful beach.
We were greeted with a bottle of wine, milk and home grown eggs. Alison was very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. House is very roomy, spotlessly clean and well laid out, beds and lounges were very comfy which was a huge plus for us. Would like to come back again.
The property was nicely presented. It was clean, effortless and peaceful. It had all the extras i needed to look after the kids and have a rest. We enjoyed beach views and walking around to see the animals.Everything we needed was within a 5 to 10 minute drive, a perfect location. The owner and her family are very welcoming. Thank you.We look forward to another getaway at your cabins. Kind regards Maria
From being greeted by the lovely hosts, to the views, to the bunnies and birds hopping around this was just what we needed as a family short break. There was everything we needed in this gorgeous fresh looking pretty much brand new cottage by the sea. We felt like we had a perfect balance of country and seaside in its location. The house was immaculate. We literally didn't want to leave. Thank you to our hosts for such a lovely stay. We will be back.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, wir haben sogar Blumen zum Abschied bekommen. Der Zustand des Hauses und die Ausstattung waren überdurchschnittlich gut.
Truly amazing part of the world. Such a beautiful plot of land and great owners who were friendly.
Very peaceful spot and a really well sized house looking over the sea with a gorgeous sunset every night. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. House felt really well loved and was clean as a whistle. Amazing spot. Will be back for sure.
We stayed here for 5 nights in January 2020.
This place is perfect for a fun filled family get away. Hosts are great. From the booking, to arrival and during our stay, they could not have been more friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
Our daughters loved feeding the chickens and the ducks and they also enjoyed checking for eggs each day.
The property itself is so beautiful. High quality features throughout and the beds are so comfortable. We loved the drawers full of games and puzzles for the kids and sitting on the front balcony watching the sunsets was a highlight for me.
Beautiful beaches nearby and great coffee just up the road.
We can’t wait to get back to this beautiful property again in the near future.
Highly recommended.
Our long weekend stay exceeded expectations. Beds were super comfortable and the Bungalow had everything we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Close to beach and plenty of great restaurants, wineries and other things to do. Alison and her family were friendly and our son enjoyed feeding the chickens and ducks and playing out on the lawn with a ball. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
An excellent location at the nexus of the Fleurieur Penisula's best attractions.
Very accomdating and convivial hosts who have put together an excellent offering. Even in hot weather!
Close to the beach and everything else the Fleurieur Penisula has to offer.

Very cosy home away from home !!
Big Thankyou to our hosts. We had such a wonderful stay at their Aldinga Bay Bungalow, it is such a cosy, peaceful, well equipped, home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was so toddler friendly. We loved watching the sunset over the ocean and our toddler loved feeding the chickens and watching the planes flying silently in the distance :)
It's only a short walk to the beach and easy drive to local McLaren Vale wine region.
Will hope to stay again!!

Disappointing & Invasive
The lack of privacy was astonishing, with the owners entering the house on their own accord during our stay, and watching us from their 3m borderline of the house!!! (Note: there is no fenceline distiguishing this house for a majority of its border) There is minimal screening/privacy as there are workers all around the house (farming area) and the owners live next door. We were told the floorboards “swell with water, so don’t get them wet” and that they would not like “any sand near the house” - both contradicting to their gorgeous views and access to the beach. The house is spacious and accommodating, but would not recommend having to be kicked out because they chose to exercise their right to “not trust us”. They entered the property on during our stay while we were asleep, I cannot stress how threatening this was, and unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this stay at all.
The Aldinga Holiday Park was gorgeous and very thoughtful during disaster weekend!

Renee's stay was a very distressing and disheartening experience for us.
In the morning after the first night of Renee's stay we noticed 10 cars in the Bungalow carpark. This was very concerning as Renee had only communicated that there would be 5 guests staying (The bungalow has a maximum capacity of 6 people). After contacting Homeaway to express our concerns they instructed us that we could "ask our guests to leave who had broken the house rules" and "enter the property if we had concerns there was something wrong".
We decided to knock on the bungalow door to find out what was wrong. After no answer we opened the unlocked door and called out to Renee who then came to the door and informed us that 12 people had stayed in the bungalow. We were shocked to find that 12 people had stayed, Renee told us her friends had too many drinks to drive home.
Aldinga bay bungalows is perfect for a relaxing getaway, we do not allow parties as clearly stated and only have a maximum capacity of 6 people. This experience has left us very dishearten. We love your guests to enjoy the property and its the open spaces.
We do ask guests to wash sand off in outdoor shower provided after being at the beach and advise guests to please clean up any spills on the floor as the floating floorboards can be sensitive to water.
The experience we had with Renee will unfortunately make us nervous the next time a young group of people wish to stay in the bungalow.

Clean, beautiful and tranquil
As soon as we arrived we saw how neat and clean the bungalow was. We hired this for our wedding weekend and it was a pleasure to get ready in this space. Our toddler stayed with us and the accomodation was very child friendly. The sunset on the back deck was an absolute highlight and topped off an amazing stay with Aldinga Bay Bungalow. 100 percent would hire again.

Very Relaxing and Welcoming
I highly recommend for small families as there is so much to do within and around the holiday home. I love how modern the interior is. The views will not dissapoint and such a change to be woken to birds rather than your alarm clock!

Peaceful hideaway
Great holiday house, fantastic sunsets from the deck, very clean, loads of extras.
Large bedrooms, great bathroom and the second toilet was handy. Dream kitchen, Webber Q for outdoor cooking and we enjoyed all working on one of the jigsaw puzzles. Special finishing touches were well done.

Beautiful retreat
We absolutely loved our time here! The property is a beautiful retreat from everyday life - with sweeping views of bushland and the bay, and walking distance from one of SA's most stunning and secluded beaches. The bungalow is brand new, modern, spacious (it was perfect for two couples) and the hosts are lovely, welcoming us with fresh milk and eggs in the fridge. I highly recommend this place and we will be back for sure :)
