Boronia Cottage Close to Greens Pool and the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi Tracks.

Welcome to delightful Eaglemont Country Cottages in the heart of Denmark’s beautiful Karri country. 11 minute drive from township of Denmark, Eaglemont is ideally located just 1.4kms off the South Coast Highway. Set amongst Karri, Jarrah and Sheoak forest in fantastic bush walking country and a 7 minute drive to iconic Greens Pool, Elephant Rocks and Mad Fish Bay, well known for their sheltered swimming, snorkelling and fishing.

Our two charming cottages are comfortable and provide affordable, friendly accommodation. With high raked ceilings, they are light and airy and fully self-contained with two bedrooms, combined dining/lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a cosy wood fire (winter months only).

The Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk is less than 25 minutes away and the property is adjacent to the Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail and Munda Biddi Trail; and the Bibbulmun Track is nearby, both giving access to some of the most spectacular coastal scenery and a multi-use trail wonderful for walking, horse riding and cycling.

The house and cottage gardens feature extensive lawn areas surrounded by native bush and forest attracting a variety of birds to your doorstep. It is spectacular throughout spring, pleasantly shaded in summer and a delight in autumn not to mention snug wood fires in winter.

And when you are ready to go further afield, Eaglemont Country Cottages is central to some of Denmark’s best tourist attractions.

Beautiful location and lovely hosts

Our stay at this cottage surpassed our expectations. The hosts were lovely and helpful. The surroundings of the cottage are picturesque with lots of beautiful birds around. Highly recommend this location for a quiet getaway.

Attentive hosts, beautiful blue wrens surround you and come for a treat morning and night. Very serene. Close to beaches. Most amenities available. Unfortunately the wifi and phone reception are almost non existent even for a Telstra customer but it is indicated in the location description. If you’re happy to be off line you’ll love it.

A piece of heaven.

Lovely, refurbished cottage. Huge grass area in front; forest on side and back. Bird lover’s paradise. Hosts very friendly and keen to make our stay comfortable. Muffins, home baked bread, butter, jam and eggs in kitchen. Lovely linen and towels. Property ideally situated to explore area. Would love to go back someday and stay longer.

Pictures don’t do it justice

The photos of the property don’t do it justice. Much better than it looked online, it’s simple inside but clean and just what we wanted and so peaceful waking up with land off a quiet road. The owners were lovely and very helpful even before check in. Best thing for me is there is just enough phone signal that if you want to completely switch off that’s possible but if you still want to check your phone then head down the garden where you can check in

Lovely relaxing stay

Back to nature

Absolutely beautiful location as its not too remote with close proximity to Greens Pool turnoff for a swim each morning. The property borders a road but the road is hardly seen and the view is so peaceful with birds feeding constantly. Beautifully manicured property. Very nice helpful owners who are on hand to help. The location is secluded. The cottage is modern country style - very comfortable. Water runs well with good hot water.

Idyllic

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was just right, the property is beautiful and a bird lovers paradise. Just sitting outside with a book and listening to the wind in the trees was great. Doug and Jan could not have been kinder, and the personalised welcome package was very welcome! All in all, yes we will certainly want to return and highly, highly recommend.

Our favourite cottage in Denmark

Over the past 2 years we’ve tried many cottages in the lower price range in Denmark and Eaglemont was our favourite. Small,but well appointed, clean cottage. Lovely hosts. We’ve enjoyed the lawn surrounded by beautiful Karri trees, abundant bird life and visiting kangaroos. An easy bike ride to Greens Pool.

Heaven on earth

Doug & Jan made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. On entering Boronia Cottage, we immediately knew we were in the perfect place to relax. A basket of “goodies” were an added touch of country. The cottage was spotless & the bed very comfortable. Doug kindly gave us binoculars to use to see the bird life up close. And there were plenty to see! Food for the fairy wrens (who visited us twice a day) was supplied. It was a stay in a very special place, never to be forgotten. We will definitely be returning to “Heaven on Earth”. Thank you Doug & Jan for sharing your property with us, and your kindness towards us was heartwarming. Pam & David

Eaglemont Country Cottages enjoys direct access to the Historic Denmark to Nornalup Rail Trail, which is excellent for walking and cycling and also for those who enjoy running. You can also enjoy direct access to the Munda Biddi Mountain bike trail which offers many varied rides for all levels of fitness. On this track you are able to ride into Denmark on a mostly level surface.
