Lovely stay not far from excellent beaches

Excellent place with gorgeous deck to relax on. Plenty of seating inside and out and info on local attractions. Greens Pool Elephant Rocks 5 minutes away and Denmark 15 minutes away. Would definitely recommend

Tranquil Break

Such a serene and peaceful place to stay. We had a lovely relaxing weekend. Very clean and homely with everything we needed. Comfy bed, great shower and nice warm fire (as it was quite wild and wooly outside) Hosts have done a great job creating a welcoming sanctuary that we didn’t want to leave.

Birthday weekend

We stayed at the Coppice for a birthday weekend away with my partner and it was wonderful!!! We loved the well stocked open fire and the many blue wrens on the property. And so much space to wander and explore the grounds. Cathy is responsive and a fabulous host! Would consider booking this home again in the future. It is fabulous!

Serenity in Denmark

The Coppice is a beautiful cottage with everything that you require for a relaxing stay in Denmark. The hosts are wonderful and provide a very comfortable home which suits all types of travellers. The location is great, not far from William Bay, we visited every evening to watch the sunset over Green Pool, which was stunning. A very relaxing stay - thank you Cathy & Mary Ann.

Family holiday

Spent 6 nights here with my two adult and one teenage sons. It was relaxing, spacious enough and had everything we needed to enjoy each other's company. Lovely deck with rural outlook and very comfy living/ dining area for board games and family time. Would definitely recommend.

2 balconies to follow the sun

Spacious house with ample wood provided for cosy wood fire. We visited with 2 couples - nice little corners to retreat to - including 2 balconies. Pity the toilet was not separate from the bathroom - we were travelling with another couple - though should not be a issue travelling with kids. Also remember to bring soap/shampoo etc - as not provided. Well stocked kitchen. Interesting nature/history books to read, large number of board games and lots of DVD choices.

Great Location

The only issue we had is that we assumed we would get the whole house as it is advertised as 3 bedroom. However, if you have 2 children they must share a room with two single beds. My teenage daughter was not happy and not was I. A note is left in the spare bedroom requesting that it remains unused for the proceeding guests. It's a lovely house and great location but not being able to use the whole house as advertised was misleading

Hi Paul - thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, this was a mix-up in communication between us and our local property manager. It would have been fine for your son and daughter to have used separate bedrooms. Our rates for each additional guest beyond the first two are based on having access to separate rooms. Apologies again for the misunderstanding, and we are glad you otherwise enjoyed the house and its location. We would encourage our guests to call us if they are unhappy about anything at the house so we hopefully can quickly resolve it.

It was my first stay in Denmark, and was definitely the best stay in the down south area I've ever stayed in. It’s just right away from the centre of the town, nature is rich, quiet and cosy, and enjoyable the perfect starry sky at night. The house was clean, well-equipped, and I was healed by the wood stove. It's close to tourist attractions, and I'd like to stay longer if I could. This place is definitely first choice when I go next time

Peaceful oasis

Our stay at the coppice was lovely, comfortable and relaxing. Everything was considered and the house was clean and inviting. We came as a friends getaway but would definitely consider bringing our families back.

Great place for a relaxing holiday!

Great place for a relaxing holiday! Directions were easy to follow and accurate and we got there with no fuss at all. The Coppice was exactly as described, we loved spending time on the deck overlooking the bushland. The place was clean. All appliances such as microwave, oven, tv and weber q looked close to brand new. We were there in the middle of winter and the hot water and fire place were lovely and warm. Cannot fault it!
