Scarborough Stunner

My place is close to the beach, public transport, parks, restaurants and cafes. You’ll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. My place is very private and secure. It is a modern stand alone house with a lovely garden with outdoor setting and barbeque and a secure garage with parking for 2 cars. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families with or without kids. A vehicle will be necessary to get around.

This property is recently renovated, and has a lovely garden setting with outdoor furniture and a barbeque. There is a park across the road, and lots of birds. The space is very homely.

Property is a single level, 5/6 bed, 2 bathroom with separate toilet in laundry. Property has a double garage with an automatic door and additional off street parking. The laundry has a front loading washing machine, drying rack and outside washing line. There is an iron and ironing board.

Bed 1 - Queen bed, built in robe and 2 bedside tables, bedside lamps and chest of drawers. Ensuite bathroom/WC with spa bath and shower over the bath, vanity and a hair dryer.
Bed 2 - Queen bed, built in robe and 2 bedside tables with lamps.
Bed 3 - Single bed, built in robe, bedside table with lamp.
Bed 4 - Single bed, built in robe, bedside table with lamp. This bedroom looks out on to the patio area and garden. Please note that this bedroom is accessed through Bed 5.
Bed 5 - Single bed, bedside table with lamp.
Bed 6 (if required) - double sofa bed. This is the entrance room, not an actual bedroom, but can be used to accommodate up to 2 adults if your party is large.
A cot/playpen is available if required.

Main bathroom is shared between bedrooms 2-5/6 and has a separate bath, vanity and shower,. There is a separate toilet off the laundry.

There is an air conditioner in the lounge area and the sea breeze cools in the summer months. Bedrooms 1, 2 and 4 and the lounge area have ceiling fans. In the winter months column heaters are present. The lounge has a large flat screen TV and two sofas and lounge chairs. The dining area has a round dining table and 6 chairs. There is an additional sofa in the entrance room.

Kitchen has all the expected amenities, kettle, toaster, microwave, full sized fridge as well as cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, coffee plunger and teapot.

Why they chose this property

I wanted to buy in Scarborough because it is close to the city and the beach, and prices were reasonable. It is an established area with access to the beach, Scarborough pool and the many restaurants and bars there. It is a beautiful beach with pristine sand, very peaceful. There are also parks near to my house with lots of bird life and ability to walk. It is a family friendly area with kids, dogs etc.

What makes this property unique

A modern home (built in the mid 1990s) with downlights, north facing dining and kitchen areas which make it very warm in winter. Floors are timber laminate which I like, with tiled kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. There are 2 bathrooms, the ensuite has an indoor spa and the main bathroom has a bath and shower.

The house is compact but has lots of rooms. It has a double garage and extra parking. There is a private patio area with dining table and chairs. The garden is lush.
