Great location close to halls gap where you can choose to stay in or go out. Lovely wood fire and good amenities made it very comfortable. Great spot for just a couple or group too.

Great stay. Awesome cottage. I loved the wood smell
The most awesome hidden gem of a property. Bristling with wildlife and such a rustic and homely feel that my 10 year old daughter did not want to leave, and neither did we. Great hosts in Aidan and Corinne, an absolute pleasure to stay here. Thankyou.

Hi Mark, thank you for your excellent review and it's wonderful to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. You are welcome back anytime. Cheers. Aidan & Corinne. The Grampians Pioneer Cottages
If you seek quiet and bucolic seclusion, this is a very good choice of accommodation near the Halls Gap zoo. Morning visits from kangaroos and local hens added to the sense of being on a Victorian rural property without the noise of other people. The cottages are well equipped but you should pack a hamper of food to last for your stay.
