About this property

Welcome to our home! Newly updated , airconditioned, open concept living/dining/kitchen that leads to a large deck for that perfect summer barbecue! 2 bedrooms with a queen and a full bed and full bathroom upstairs, linens/towels provided. There is also another Tv room, bedroom, with full and twin bed with a full bathroom downstairs with laundry. An outdoor shower is available after a day at the beach or river. The house sits on a corner lot in a very quiet family neighborhood . A great side yard for playing games or just relaxing. Narrow River is just steps away for kayaking or paddle boarding. There is a public boat ramp near by in addition to a small playground & basketball court, local favorite ice cream shop, Brickleys, pubs, restaurants and pizza places which is all within walking distance. The house is centrally located for a day of sight seeing and shopping in beautiful Newport or a quick ferry ride to Block Island. We are just three short miles from the beautiful Narragansett Beach and pier for that perfect day of shopping, dining and relaxing on the beach!

Delightful stay

The property was welcoming, comfortable, and spacious with nice amenities. The property manager couldn't have been more responsive or amenable. We were mildly disappointed only with the fact that the chimenea in one of the photos in the listing was no longer available...a minor detail. Otherwise, our stay was most enjoyable!

A Beautiful, Relaxing Vacation House

My wife and 2 teen-age daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, relaxing, modern vacation home. The house is very well maintained with all the amenities you could ask for during a week’s vacation. We enjoyed the local restaurants and several beaches which were only a short drive away. The kids liked having the downstairs to themselves which was a terrific bonus! Lots of DVDs and video games for them to keep busy with. I was also glad to see there was a shed we could store our bikes in.

Great house in a little known section

On a last minute whim, we found this home. Most other homes were way overpriced or unavailable for our dates. We found this home. The owner was communicative on the procedures. A book was available with information on the home and pamphlets on things to do. The house is not on the beach. But I swear, eight minutes to town beach by car. 15 to the state beach. Hint, go to town beach early. It's better anyway. The neighborhood is very quiet. There is a marina down the street and a smaller beach which is a five minute walk. It's members.only, but the few times we went there walking, no one gave us issues. I'd say everything is 15 minutes by car at most. If you go further to providence or Newport, might be 30 minutes. The house was kept well. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were great! Too many places we went to and beds were not so good. But we only used upstairs bed. We didn't use downstairs alot, but there was three beds and a TV. The microwave was in the closet. We thought that was kind of funny, but after wife and I tried cooking together, we realized the kitchen is small. Also. The coffee maker has a keurig cup for your own coffee. We ended up using that. The yard was small. But the deck was nice. Unfortunately for us it was either too hot or raining, so we couldn't enjoy it as much. The bathroom was clean, but the showers are so weird. It's hard to maneuver it so I, a 6ft, 225lb dude, had to shower in the corner of the shower. The owner was available for us if we had any questions. I avoided bothering too much though. But it was good to know that line of communication was available. We'd Def consider coming back in the future.
