Just completed we have a hot/cold outdoor shower and “cabana” that features an outdoor kitchen & full bathroom. The home is open & airy, with coastal furnishings & modern amenities. The kitchen is a chef's dream with stainless steel appliances & an antique oak island. Each bedroom is spacious. Sliding glass doors lead to the enormous screened-in porch on the back of the house. Property Location: The House is located in the Soundview section of Montauk which is within walking distance to the Harbor area, by Gosman's Dock. You can easily walk to area Sound beaches, at least 1/2 dozen great restaurants, many lovely shops, Ben & Jerry's, the Montauk ferry terminal, and several local watering holes. Walk to the ferry and watch local fisherman bring in the catch of the day or charter your own fishing boat. Take the ferry for a day trip to Block Island or hire a sailboat for a fabulous sunset. Plenty to do on foot or bike! NOTE: Those of you considering homes that are 'walk to the ocean,' PLEASE keep in mind that we HIGHLY recommend swimming at beaches WITH TOWN LIFEGUARDS! WALKING DISTANCE TO A OCEAN BEACH WITHOUT A LIFEGUARD CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS!!

The local area of this home can be described as ocean beach resort. Most all activities are water and beach related although golf, horseback riding, fantastic road and mountain biking, countless hiking trails and more can be found there as well. The quaint town of Montauk can be compared to a small island with plenty of sandy beaches, boutiques, restaurants, marinas and boating. Amagansett and East Hampton are approx. 20 minutes away. Private Block Island Sound beaches are within walking distance.

Fabulous!

This house is just fabulous. The location is perfect, close to town, the beach and the docks. The house itself is spotless and charming with the most comfortable couch for lounging and bright and airy bedrooms. Michelle, the owner, could not have been more helpful and generous with her time. This was our first time in Montauk and being at this location just made it perfect!

You get what you pay for with this property. The entire home and entertaining areas are brand new, well furnished, and beautifully decorated. Everything you would need for a perfect getaway has been thought of and provided. The location is outstanding with beaches, restaurants and bars in walking distance. The backyard is an entertainers dream with a beautiful pool, lounging area, fire pit, and bbq. We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Myself, my husband, 3 children, spouses and 2 grandchildren had a 10/10 stay at this wonderful home. The home is very spacious, beautifully decorated, kitchen is stocked with necessary appliances, utensils, etc., the yard is beautiful and the pool was used every day. Proximity to beaches , shopping and restaurants were all within minutes (driving) from home. Gosman’s Dock vicinity and adjacent beaches are within walking distance. Our stay was great all around. The location of Sal's house is perfect- we walked to get coffee every morning, walked for dinner & ice cream and walked to the beach at the end of the block every night to watch the sunset with family and friends. Amenities made our stay easy and fun- from the pool cabana with fridge & bathroom, to outdoor shower, plenty of lounge chairs & backyard games it felt like a hotel. We especially liked the screened in porch for the kids to play in & to hang out in the mornings and on rainy days. We had a few questions during our stay and Sal was quick to reply and helpful. WONDERFUL STAY

I have stayed at a lot of places via vrbo and airbnb as I travel for work. Sal had the best communication out of any owner I’ve been in contact with. He’s always available for assistance or questions you may have. In regards to the property, it’s recently renovated and very close to shops and the beach. There is plenty of space for you, friends, or family. As well as a competitive price! This is a must book if you are looking for a place to stay in the hamptons.

Great!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Michele and Sal’s Montauk house! The home is spacious - so much so that no one was going stir crazy after spending one stormy day in the house. The pool & backyard are beautiful & the screened porch is a great spot to kick back after dinner. Michele is incredibly responsive & kindly answered all of my last minute questions. My family and I stayed at 83 Duryea a week in August 2012. We have been renting various houses on all sides of Montauk for more than 10 years. This modernized Leisurama is beautifully appointed, with a solid attention to comfort. It is extremely clean, close to the water and close to several shops. MONTAUK FAMILY MEMORIES 2023

I can’t say enough about this beautiful, comfortable, Well-stocked home that my husband and I, kids and grandkids stayed in this past week! It was super clean upon arrival and had everything you could possibly want or need! The kitchen was spacious with plenty of seating for all. A beautiful salt water pool with a cabana filled with pool toys and a bathroom! A large screened in porch for those rainy days or evenings. We were able to walk to Gosman’s and the beach. Sal, the owner responded very quickly to questions and he was a pleasure to speak with. This was our favorite family vacay as of yet and we’ve been going to Montauk for 30 years! Great week away

We had a great time. The weather was great, pool was so nice to have with young kids, and we absolutely loved the location of the house. We went for walks and bike rides every night. We walked up the street to the beach to watch the sunset, walked to get ice cream several nights, as well as for takeout. The location feels a little more secluded, which we loved. Sal was so easy to communicate with we would definitely stay there again.

Magnificent Montauk home!

We recently spent Memorial Day Weekend at this incredible home. To say we enjoyed it is an understatement. The house was perfect - clean and spacious, plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy themselves. The dining room comfortably seated all nine of us for dinner. The living room was a comforting place to spend our evenings and the upstairs TV nook was the perfect place for the children to gather each night before bed. The master bedroom and bathroom was beautifully furnished and private. The balcony provided a beautiful space to enjoy a cup of coffee each morning. The inground pool was a hit! And the outdoor shower made our sandy arrival home from the private beach a breeze. The location of the home couldn’t have been better. Just a quick walk to the private beach or a bike ride/ drive to Gosman’s. Town is only five minutes away. The owner, Sal, was attentive. His friendliness and generosity made our stay even that much better. We’ve been spoiled as it would be difficult to vacation in Montauk at any other location but this one. We will absolutely be back again soon.

A Great Stay

We had a very good stay at Sal’s Montauk house with our friends. We had an extra lodge needef for our friends coming to our daughter’s wedding in Montauk and I am so glad to find Sal’s house. It’s clean and very comfortable and our guests had such a great time during the stay. You can find everything you need and it feels like a home away from home. Sal is very nice and was super responsive for all my questions and he sent house rule days before we arrived and it’s simple and easy and we don’t have any issue with check in.

Perfect family gathering spot!

Our dream came true when we purchased this property. Being able to build memories with our 3 children in Montauk is a true gift. We love days at the beach, paddleboarding in the bay, swimming in our pool, visiting all the farms & cooking up a feast, and most of all just relaxing in such a unique place that is Montauk.

Why they chose this property

The home is located in the Culloden area of Montauk which is ideal. You can walk to the bay beach plus also to Gosman's dock & plenty of restaurants. The block is peaceful with wonderful neighbors.

What makes this property unique

We take cleanliness very serious so we have hired an advanced cleaning company that comes to the property to ensure “our” families are safe and sound.

This company uses commercial grade hospital cleaning towels called Dispatch. These towels kill bacteria , viruses and fungi in seconds.
