24 Victor St - Old Point Lonsdale

Victor street is a fabulous beach house in beautiful old Point Lonsdale. It is perfectly located in a quiet court, a 3-minute walk to the tennis courts and back beach and 7-minute walk to the front beach and shops.

The beauty of this house is that it offers space and comfort with different living zones, making it great for sharing with another family, a group of friends or simply having the kids at one end and the adults at the other.

The configuration of Victor street is as follows; it has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom at the front of the house with an adjacent lounge. The kitchen, dining and family rooms run the length of the house with double doors out to the garden and outdoor entertaining. A further 2 bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry are housed at the rear of the house. There is side access to the clothesline and outside shower.

You are welcome to bring your own linen and towels (I can give you bed configuration) or I can arrange hire from local linen people. (Keep in mind one of the beds is a King size).

Relaxing holiday break

Lovely property, thoughtfully equipped with plenty of space outside and inside to relax. Close to the beach and amenities, perfect for my dog who loved the walks and garden. A great space for entertaining family meals, a fantastic selection of books to read and games for children to play. A perfect base from which to do the Point Lonsdale swim.

A special Gem

A home away from home. Roz has thought of everything to make it comfortable and easy to enjoy. The property has a very special vibe, terrific location, well designed house, great back yard for pets/toddlers, relaxing courtyard. Easy stroll to back beach and a lovely walk to the Main Road.

Great family holiday retreat

Our second family holiday here. Great location and the house is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great layout for families with seperate living areas and sleeping quarters, and a roomy yard for the furry members of the clan. Ros is very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Spacious and roomy

The house was large and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to move around (6 of us). We stayed during cooler days and there was adequate heating but there was only 1 air conditioner in the main living area so I'm not sure how you would go on hot days and nights. The back yard was large. The kitchen well equipped. The layout of the house was fantastic so you could sleep and not hear the noice from the living areas. It's located a bit far from the shops and backbeach so you need a car to get around. Point Lonsdale is a great place and we really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, clean and generous

Ros’s place at Point Lonsdale was wonderful: well-located, extremely spacious and very clean and almost everything we could have wished for was provided and in the place you’d expect to find it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well fitted out with lots of generous provisions. Our only wish was for a ceiling fan or small electric fan during the night as it was very hot and the aircon, though marvellous in the living areas didn’t quite make the bedrooms comfortable too. Thanks so much for having us Ros. Our pup also very much enjoyed the lovely yard and we would love to return.

Perfect for a large group

We had a great time here. We went down with two families with teenagers. Everything was super-clean and it's the best-stocked holiday house we've ever stayed in. The two lounge areas were perfect for us - we designated one the 'quiet' adult zone and the kids used the other one (most of the time!). It was an easy walk to the surf beach and to the shops. The large outdoor area, including the BBQ, worked really well for us and the outdoor shower was a real bonus.

well appointed in a great location

Generously appointed kitchen, furnishings and so on with everything working well. The house is well designed with two bedrooms on each side of the house, making for privacy if required. A short walk to the Ocean Beach in a very quiet location.

Why they chose this property

The property at 24 Victor Street was built by my parents in the mid 1980's. It has been a very special family home and I hope to keep it if I can.

What makes this property unique

This is the perfect get away house. Set in a dead end 'court' you have complete quiet and safety. Walking distance to everything Point Lonsdale has to offer. AND the house is split into 2 areas so it is perfect for 2 families or a family with kids.
