Cute little cottage with a good kitchen and great bathrooms with plenty of hot water.

We enjoyed our stay at Osterley Cottage with everything there we needed. However, if I was to make one criticism it would be to perhaps to provide somwhere, or even just to add a table, for outdoor dining.

Thankyou for your feedback we hope you will use the outdoor tables, chairs and barbecue on the verandah on your next visit. They are also portable enough to be able to setup under the shade of the front or back yards depending on the day. Great that you had nice hot weather to enjoy skiing on the waterways.

Comfortable and warm for our family (of 4) snow trip to Selwyn. Nicely renovated bathroom with towel and floor heating was greatly appreciated. Great communication and assistance from helpful owners.

Great stay

Fantastic stay at talbingo for the first time in 4 years. Lots has changed in that time. The property was as described and very clean and tidy on arrival. Terrific communication with the owners. We will happily stay again.

Great location for snow trip

Warm and cosy property for our yearly snow trip. Fully equipped kitchen, best we’ve stayed at. Seperate toilet fantastic for family. Kangaroos visit the front yard. Quiet neighbourhood. We’ll be back

The house met all our needs

The house was adequate for all our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics you need,, they even had coffee machine including the coffee pods! The house was easy and quick to warm up with the gas heater. Easy communication with owners and checking in was easy with a contactless key code at the property. 45mins drive to Selwyn ski resort.

Great place to stay, clean and cosy. Spent one whole day just walking around the area talking to the locals, what great and friendly neighbours/locals, so peaceful and wild life everywhere, such as kangaroos galore. Thanking Michael and Dianne for extending my stay for an extra day, really appreciated it and so easy to communicate to the owners of property. See pick below in our backyard and across the road. Kangaroos just chilling out on arrival to our property.

Snow trip

The kids and I again stayed at this cosy property, the massive couch and heated bathroom floors are the stand outs of this property. Talbingo is a small town with access to Selwyn ski fields 40min car trip, the property is conveniently located near the shops and country club, we recommend the Chinese takeaway! We had daily visits from the town kangaroos and peacocks, we look forward to next years visit

Osterley Cottage Talbingo

Thank you. Was handy to find this place at the last minute so that we could accompany other family members on a holiday. Place was clean and tidy. Appreciated the linen being there ready to go - good to have one less thing to worry about while going away. Pricey for Talbingo but that's the law of supply and demand I guess. Overall really appreciated the stay. Thankyou

Clean, Convenient and Comfortable

Perfect place for a getaway. The beds were comfortable, bathroom recently renovated and the kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Fantastic place

Thank you Michael and Dianne, Our stay at your house was very comfortable. The heated floors in the newly renovated bathroom was a luxury. Everything we needed for our holiday was available in the house. Will definitely be coming back.
