The cottage has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with 2 x queen bedrooms. It provides a full kitchen with gas and wood fire heating as well as reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. Feather and down quilts and electric blankets. A double and single sofa bed and a single roll-away bed can also be utilised (if required).

We have fenced the front veranda as a safe area for your dog(s) and we are happy for your dog(s) to roam free keeping in mind there are much loved animals on the property including Clydesdales, miniature horses, a donkey, goats, sheep, geese, chickens and a Wheaten Terrier (who loves visitors).

There are many attractions in the Hawkesbury area so please visit the www.discoverthehawkesbury.com.au

Despite Hawkesbury's close proximity to Sydney, it is still very much a rural community, with market gardens, orchards and rich pasture covering much of the landscape from the floodplains to the hills.

Known as the "food basket" for Sydney, the Hawkesbury area grows a vast range of produce including stone fruits, oranges, apples, pecan nuts, berries and various vegetables, many of which are for sale at various stalls dotted around the roads.

Many of the orchards are open for "pick you own" customers. The orange orchards are found on the plains around Freemans Reach and Agnes Banks whilst the apple and stone fruit orchards are located further up the hills of Bilpin, Grose Vale and Kurrajong.

Amazing place for the whole family

We had a fantastic stay, and the kids were in love with all the animals. By the 2nd day, our eldest was asking if we could make it a regular holiday destination. We will definitely be back, and cannot recommend any higher!

perfect location and hospitality

What an amazing property! A great location for a family Christmas for our mum. Accessibility, cleanliness and amenity was perfect. Susan and John are wonderful, warm and hospitable hosts, who also forgave our not always perfectly behaved puppies. We had a wonderful stay and memories for Christmas that will endure. We recommend this property and can't wait to visit again.

"An Unforgettable, Dog-Friendly Escape with Warm Hospitality!"

We had an amazing experience at this dog-friendly farm stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Our host, Susan, was absolutely wonderful – she welcomed us like family and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The farm itself is beautiful, and our dogs had the best time exploring the open space. It's a perfect spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace and quiet in nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

The perfect getaway!

From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with the friendliest smile which lasted throughout our stay. Susan and John were so lovely - it was wonderful getting to know them. They were so generous, kind and thoughtful, and genuinely welcomed us to their property. Having the animals so close was great. It meant we could pet them and spoil them as much as we liked. This is the perfect place to stay for peace and serenity and is close enough to town if you wanted to explore surrounding areas.

A wonderful place to stay. Amazing hosts. Lovely breakfast supplies. Arrived in the rain and the fire was already on for us. Our dog Tommy loved it here as well. Chatting with the clydies in the morning and giving them carrots was great. Well worth visiting and I am sure we'll be back.

Just perfect.

John and Suzanne where so friendly fresh eggs were divine. Views are stunning who wouldnt want to have a cuppa outside looking at the beautiful horses and animals they have. I really didn’t want to leave. I have never had a fire before and that was so cosy with plenty of wood available at no cost. Would love to go back someday.
