Lost Tides is a magical home! The setting is perfect, the home is comfortable and beautiful and the Northport/Belfast area is wonderful. The evenings are cool - perfect for s’mores on the fire pit. The sunrises are spectacular. Will definitely be returning.

The house was amazing, even for a home that is150 years old. The scenery is amazing and being on the water is very peaceful. The location of restaurants, bars, stores, etc. is very convenient and well worth the stay. We will be back next year!

Highly recommend. Our 3 generation family enjoyed a fabulous late July vacation week at Lost Tides. Large, historic waterfront home with breathtaking views of Penobscot Bay. Plenty of room (and rooms) in this spacious house to accommodate the dining, relaxation and sleeping preferences of family members of all ages. Kitchen was amply stocked. Nice backyard hot tub with stunning ocean views. Host Suzanne provided helpful welcome information and was always friendly and responsive to our inquiries.

We loved this home for a group of ten adults! There are multiple large spaces inside and outside for group to gather and enjoy their time together. Beautiful views of Penobscot Bay! We aoso enjoyed visits to Belfast, Camden and Acadia National Park together. Excellent location! Great cooking and dining areas to enjoy home cooked meals together, too.

We had a fantastic stay at Lost Tides. There was plenty of room for all and plenty to do. We rented Kayaks for our stay and enjoyed kayaking on the bay. The hot tub was a bonus after a long trek! The house is centrally located so day trips to Acadia/Bar Harbor are very do-able. Young’s Lobster Pound became a group favorite! All in all a very enjoyable place to stay. Thank you!

Wonderful property

This was the perfect place for our family gathering. The location was great, close to Belfast, and a view of Penobscot Bay from every window! Great communication from Suzanne and the house is well stocked. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Lost Tides was a wonderful home away from home for a magical week in July with family and our dog. The location on the bay was perfection, and the house was welcoming, comfortable, and bigger than the listing photos represented. There was enough room for everyone to gather, and also spread out. We rented kayaks from Duck Trap, which we would also highly recommend. The beds were very comfy and overall we would turn around and go right back if we could!

Splendid spot

Our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. Plenty of space as far as bedrooms and bathrooms go. So much common space to enjoy a fire, meals, and outdoor space. The beach is very wide during low tide and an added perk. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We can’t wait to plan a return trip.

Showers could use some attention/ no locking door to downstairs bedroom or bathroom- would have appreciated unused soap and shampoo - nice outdoor space to enjoy the water- enjoyed the multiple spaces inside for everyone’s comfort - appreciated the owners prompt call when we had a need to understand the heating system and request to check in early

Hi Vicki. Thanks for the five star review. We do expect guests will bring their own shampoo, but leave the big bottles out in case they forget as a courtesy. I will certainly pass the feedback on showers on to my cleaning crew, but because we are on well water, there is some rust staining that is hard to eradicate, especially when we get early check in requests that we do our best to accomodate. Since we both gave each other five star reviews, sounds like it was a good stay on both ends. :)

We all loved our time at the Estate. We had more than enough room for all the adults and the two master suites with attached private bathrooms was wonderful. The house has well equipped kitchens. The bedrooms had ample space and were very comfortable. The view from the house is amazing. We had great weather and were able to sit outside for breakfast coffees. Lovely! Host is very open and available. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

Bayside Beauty just right for a Family Vacation

I’d highly recommend this property for anyone who is planning a trip and in our case a family vacation, that required lots of back and forth until we found Suzanne and Ethan’s listing. Just can’t say enough good things about the property and how truly wonderful Suzanne was with communication and all the little extras that came with the booking. Anyone who is looking to stay somewhere that requires a 4+ bedroom house with all the “fixin’s” would be wise to book Lost Tides!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in Bayside. There were plenty of rooms for our large family with extremely comfortable beds! We loved the view of the water from every window, appreciated the TV room being slightly separate from the rest of the main house, and having two dining options depending on what felt right for each meal. We loved explored the shoreline at low tide and rented kayaks for the week to go out and enjoy the water. We built a fire to make s'mores in the evening and loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. The house was close to lots of great places to eat, hike, explore, etc. We hope to come back next summer!

Wonderful time

My wife and I, our three adult children and their spouses, and our grandchildren had a great time at the Lost Tides house relaxing, sightseeing, and eating at the restaurants around the area. The spacious house easily accommodated us and all our activities, and the view of Penobscot Bay outside the expanse of windows was gorgeous. Suzanne, the owner, was a gracious host. We hope to stay again.

Perfect

Lovely family house on the water, surrounded by chestnut and other trees. Outside seats and a fire pit for s'more. Plenty of room inside. Perfect for our family of 9, ranging in age, 68yrs to 83 years old. Big kitchen, plenty of seating and a assortment of rooms.
