Fantastic Ski Trip

Beautiful house with everything we needed. Truly ski in-ski out from the Blazer trail. Our two families had a wonderful time and would stay again. Well equipped and a great space to spend time when not on the mountain. Highly recommended.

Great slope side accommodation

We loved our stay at Kodiak Timber Lodge. We were a group of 7 and the house was perfect. Ski in/ski out was great. Loved the hot spa after a day skiing. The village was a 10 minute walk down the hill. Would highly recommend.

Stunning location right on the slopes (Blazer run was best to get home) with very short walk to restaurants and bars. The lodge was beautiful throughout and well cared for. Very well stocked kitchen with plenty of equipment for homemade meals. We were a family of 10 and plenty of room for all - never felt cramped in the living room next to stunning fire after a hard days ski. Carol and Bruno were very welcoming and flexible with our requirements. Thank you for a fantastic trip!

This is one of the best residences I have ever stayed in. The owner has gone the extra mile and then some to make it feel lived in and loved. Everything we needed was there and easy to find and the apartment was decorated with the finer details you would only normally find in someone’s home. I highly recommend this property!!

Great place for a ski vacation with extended family

The location was perfect (ski in/ski out - which is a MUST for us). The house slept 8 VERY comfortably, and was large enough so that we all had plenty of space. A large dining room table was also a must since there were 8 of us. Plenty of dishes and silverware for everyone. Beautiful view. A 10 minute walk into the village (in the snow). We would stay here again. Had a GREAT time!

Ski in Ski out heaven

This very comfortable and attractive property is totally ski in ski out. We cannot recommend it enough. The owners were quick to reply to any questions we had. The house is very well equipped with more than enough kitchen equipment for us to cook every evening and a fabulous laundry on site. The Hot tub overlooking the run each evening is a must for all those tired muscles too. Will definitely book again!

Fantastic ski-in, ski-out!

We had a lovely Christmas at this beautiful home. We were greeted by the owners and felt welcome throughout. The location is fantastic for skiing - easy in and out. Great mud room for all the ski gear and jackets. Oversize laundry was great for our skiing as well. Very well-stocked kitchen and spacious seating in the breakfast areas and the large separate dining room area. Very spacious and comfortable living room for watching movies. Three very comfortable rooms and plenty of space for our large group. Very quiet neighborhood but only a short walk to the village as well. We would love to come back again!

Best place to stay at Sun Peaks

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Fits multiple families with plenty of space at a great price! You can ski right to your door! Watch the snowcat groom the run next to you while you hot tub. We will be back for sure!

Perfect location and home away from home

Kodiak Lodge is amazing and I would highly recommend it. The living area is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen really well stocked with everything you need and the location could not be better to get onto the slopes. Carol was great to liaise with and incredibly friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to come back!

Great location, lovely chalet.

Great space for our family group over Christmas! Small climb up the backyard hill with your skis and you're on the run down to the lifts and village--easy ski in and out and a short walk to the village from the front door. Chalet kitchen is well stocked for large groups. Hot tub, fireplace...what else can you ask for? Chalet is as described--no nasty surprises here. Lovely host, who was easy to get a hold of and who sorted a couple of small issues quickly. Happy to recommend!

Great place at Sun Peaks for a family

Kodiak Timber Lodge is exactly as pictured, only better. Great house for a family to spread out - room for games, TV, meals, lounging. Lovely decor, beautiful linens, poofy duvets. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooks - everything we could ever need was at hand, and it's perfectly laid out for several people to work together or to gather around the island. The location is great - literally 20 steps up to the cruiser run that takes you down to the village lifts. Easy to return to via blue or green runs from either Sundance or Sunburst chairs. We could come back for lunch, watch the skiers on either side of the valley, then pop back out for a few more runs. We walked down to the village (10 minutes easy walk along trail), and never needed a car. Hot tub is big and well kept. Very much appreciated after a long day. Just a perfect place for a ski vacation. We'll try to be back soon.

5-Star Rating Well Deserved

Our first ski trip to Sun Peaks and Kodiak Lodge was the icing on the cake. Three couples (average age 70) found it a perfect place to ski together, prepare meals, soak in the glorious hot tub, and visit well into the evening. We particularly enjoyed how easy it was to ski in for a leisurely and private lunch together before we returned to the slopes. A+ for ambience, cleanliness, peace and quiet, great views. Bravo to you Bruno and Carol for offering such a great place to stay.

Excellent accommodations for skiing and village.

Location, Location, Location (ideal for ski lift and village access on foot). The Kodiak Timber lodge was very clean and the accommodations suited our family fine. Ski conditions were excellent (plenty of fresh powdery snow). Communication with owner (Carole) was excellent.

Perfect ski holiday for family!

We are a family with three young boys (5, 8 and 11). The location was perfect for ski-in and ski-out. The house was well kept, spacious, and comfortable. Spacious living area, true ski in & out!

We absolutely loved staying at the Kodiak! This is our 8th year at Sun Peaks and our first year staying at Kodiak. Beautiful views of Mt Morrisey. True ski in and ski out (really). Spacious living area and spacious kitchen. Carol and Bruno were so gracious and responsive! Love, love, love their home. The spacious mud room is also fantastic for staying warm / getting warm while taking gear on and off.

Great house, perfect location

We stayed at the Kodiak lodge September 22 to the 26th. We had 3 families staying in the house and there was plenty of room. Nice open concept and the two eating areas was perfect for the kids. The house was right on the hill just a 5 minute walk to the village. Perfect house for our Spartan race. He hot tub was a nice touch too. Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Great Ski in ski out..Kodiak Timber Lodge

We were at Sun Peaks March 1 to march 6 ..2016 .at Kodiak Timber Lodge...the place was amazing ,very clean and communication with Caroline was very good ...all questions answered either by E-Mail ..text or Phone. If you rent the top of house you can put your car in the garage..,great if you get a big dump of snow over night, also use of carport..they have a snow service that comes and clears all snow on the steps and around the Hot tub ..had a great time Thanks.

WOW - Kodiak Lodge is fantastic

Kodiak Lodge was a superb place to stay as a family of five and so well appointed in every way, making our skiing holiday the best ever. Kitchen facilities were excellent. Being able to ski in and ski out every day with 2 young children (3 and 5 years) was so good. Magnificent views over Sun Peaks and the nearby ski runs were always appreciated. The wood featured in the lodge needs to be seen to be believed. In fact our 3 year old wanted to take Kodiak Lodge back to Vancouver with her, because she loved the house so much. That says it all.

We had a wonderful family time at this beautiful home! The owners were very thoughtful in that they provided some seasonal decorations that made the place so homey. Thank you for our very comfortable stay! We loved the ski in and out convenience and the gorgeous scenery.
