Experience a relaxing and memorable vacation at our 2 bedroom get away home. Bring the entire family and don't worry about the hassles of booking multiple hotel rooms or traveling across the city for entertainment. Our fully furnished home provides not only inside entertainment with our TV and DVD player, but with our outside fire pit you can spend the night making smores and telling stories. We are located just 3 Blocks from the Ocean, so you can enjoy a morning walk with a breath taking view. Spend your day fishing at the ocean, and don't forget to try and catch some of our world famous clams. People travel all over the nation for the chance to catch them, so book with us to be among the first.

Anxiety… what anxiety?

Direct quote from the surly, feral teen, “This place took away all my problems; I don’t want to leave.” They didn’t even complain about lack of wifi, but if someone was trying to use it for say a writer’s weekend, or needing to bring work on their stay, that might be the only thing to complain about. Great place!

Great weekend getaway!

We had a great stay. Accommodated us and our two pets very well. Prompt communication. Easy walk to the beach. Nice yard although it's not fully fenced. Best to bring your own bathroom toiletries.

Nice location to beach.

We enjoyed the location. The wood furniture was a little hard, made it difficult to get comfortable on. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, that is where we spent most of our days. The beach was not very busy which was nice to be able to walk and listen to the waves.

This is our second time staying here and we love it. We came out in November and being there in the summer was fun too. Got to enjoy the fire pit in spite of the wind and make s’mores.

Check in was easy and the location was quiet, close to beach and easy to find. Everything worked and it was nice to take our dogs with. Only odd thing was that there was only 3 forks. Tons of spoons though;). There was also no airflow and one tabletop fan. With windows open it was stuffy and warm. We enjoyed this place

Sweet little beach cottage

This cottage has character. Hand made dish clothes, assorted colored/print towels & washcloths; smooth, soft bed linens; comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen, including coffee! There was nothing we needed that was not there. Good assortment of DVD’s for evening entertainment or when not enjoying the beach. We definitely hope to return soon.

Sweet and simple homey stay

The property was as advertised. Nothing fancy but pleasant. Yard was nice and we watched 4 hummingbirds fly around. It had everything we needed except for the communication (phone/Wi-Fi issues) As they said there was no Wi-Fi, but we also had almost no cell signal so that was difficult. Really need one or the other. I would suggest owners get Wi-Fi and use less strong room deodorizers or free breeze. Otherwise it was great.

Location, Location, Location!

Great little beach house! Well stocked with essentials. Nice neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. This is a dog friendly VRBO (which is great!), however, if you have a sensitivity to smells, this may not work for you. Keep in mind that this is an older house (trailer) in damp conditions so associated smells are likely common. Beach chairs, mats, sand toys, beach wagon would have been a great addition for those who have families. Plenty of hot water! Beds and linen were clean! You will be asked to do a little exit cleaning but it wasn’t much and most guests would do those things without being asked. Thanks!

Boring and damp

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. First of all they don't cable or wifi, I know that was in the description but I think it should be more prominent. It was a quite run down property, the outside needs a good wash down and while the kitchen was clean the bathroom was grungy, there was mold in the corners and in the grouting the toilet roll holder was very rusty and the whole place smelled of damp. I had to wash all our clothes even the clean ones as everything smelled of damp. I certainly would never go back here.

Quaint, cute and a total throw back to my grandma's trailer!

I enjoyed the simplicity and ease of this property. While it's been moderately updated, it still retains the charm of yesteryear and brought my sense memory back to staying with my grandparents in their single-wide summer place. My husband and I needed to decompress from some stress and this place was great for that- no wifi, no phone, no cable- a little bit of a technology reprieve was needed and we got it. We did enjoy the dvd player and in-house selection (also brought our own). We threw open the windows and aired the place out and it was just fine for what we needed it to be- a comfortable, dog-friendly place by the beach (it's a mere 3 minute walk away, complete with resident bald eagle to greet us almost every walk) in a quiet neighborhood (until the second night we were there and being so close to 4th of July we should've expected a ton of fireworks and there were plenty late into the night- be forewarned!).The location is great and the place is really sweet. Thank you to the hosts for your hospitality!
