Location is the attraction on this attached studio/suite, short walk to the Beach, restaurants, nightlife, public transportation, the city center and Cedros shopping District. Private entrance, private parking, private bathroom, 2 bikes and beach equipment. Cozy, it has everything you need to have a restful night's sleep, small table and chairs and a useful kitchenette.
You’ll love my place because of Location, Location, Location. This place is good on solo adventurers, or a business traveler.
Perfect for a traveler who want to enjoy the area (loud/party people would not be happy in this location, Solana Beach has a noise ordinance that is closely enforced)
Walk to the beach, the restaurants, the shops, belly up, farmers market, the bus or the train station, take a free shuttle to the Del Mar Racetrack during race season, or take the train to old town or to Disneyland.
We provide 2 Beach cruiser bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, cooler and private off street parking spot in front of the studio. The small studio is better suited for one person. The Studio could be too cozy for some couples. Washer and dryer available for monthly rentals.

Public EV charging station walking distance nearby at 330 S Cedros.

We are close to the ocean and have never had the need for AC, but we can provide a portable AC unit for an additional $20/night fee for anybody that wants one. All long rentals are for one guest only. Sorry, No visitors.
Kitchenette has a modest size refrigerator with freezer, sink, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and utensils for eating. As much as we would like to, we are not able to accept visitors at any time for legal reasons, not even for a few minutes, no exceptions, no guest exchanges. But we do have lots of cafes around us where you can visit with family and friends. Thank you for complying with the contract rules.

Great place to stay

Martha was extremely helpful when checking in. If you're planning a trip to the San Diego area I highly recommend staying here as it has everything you need if you plan on going out every day

Excellent location; 1/2 of a double car garage

I needed an affordable option to stay near family in SB. This very small, clean studio definitely fit the bill, however it's not a place you would want to hang out in during the day nor stay for very long. There's one window with frosted glass, so no ability to see outside. There's a travel trailer parked immediately outside. Sometimes I found communication with Martha challenging. She was responsive and sympathetic when a family emergency cut my visit short but firmly stuck to the VRBO contract terms. She kindly offered to refund 2 days out of my 13 prepaid missed days but then immediately asked for the money back. Confusing!

Dana was polite. She had to cancel at the last minute, and even though I did not have to offer any refund, as a courtesy I gave her 2 options: If I am able to re-rent I will give you the net proceeds OR I can give you a 2 day refund now. She wanted the 2 day refund, but as soon as I gave her the cash she texted me that she also wanted the re rental money if I was able to re-rent the days! (without returning the refund she had already received). Very strange! Even after she left she kept coming around our neighborhood and that was a bit concerning to me and my family.

Cozy and clean

Though small, this unit was clean and well organized. It was a comfortable space and walking distance to a lot of good spots. Quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. Hosts were personable and helpful.

Great location

This is our second stay here. We like the location. It is very small room, but we basically just sleep there so it works ok for us. The extra such as bikes, coolers, etc is nice. Our stay is always in Sept. And with the rising temperatures happening everywhere, I feel the addition of ac to the unit will be a must in the future. We managed, but with no ac it was warm at night. Spending any time in the room during the day would have not been pleasant at all. We used the attic fan in the evening and a ceiling fan fortunately blows over the bed. Thankful there were no power outages while we were there.

Lovely experience

My husband and I honeymooned here and had a blast. Although it was small we only slept there. The property offers so much to do. Including bikes, boogy boards, and a long list of great recommendations. The host even reached out to us personally and recommended so great places to eat! 10/10 loved it!

So quiet and so clean

The place was so quiet and so clean. Just the sound of birds singing in the morning! It was also an easy walk to the beach and local restaurants. The host was great too.

Jim, we are sorry you didn’t enjoy the accommodations. We have made an effort to clearly describe the place in our listing as best suited for one person, may be too cozy for some couples. However, many couples stay here and enjoy it, perhaps because they have read the listing and know what they are renting. The bed is a double, as described, and the toilet is a standard size toilet. You noted while you were here that you need an extra tall toilet to be able to get up easily due to your physical limitations. In the future you will be likely be happier if read the description of the place you are planning to rent, as well as to check for special accommodations that you may need.

Very Nice Apartment

We book this unit for out of town guests who are visiting/working at our office in Solana Beach. Everyone who stays there says it is perfect.
