Very tidy, comfortable, and even a touch of retro - sitting 1-block down from the beachfront The Beach House is ideal for a family wanting to spend some time away by the beach.

This 3-bedroom holiday home comes with all the essentials! Relax and enjoy Unlimited Wi-Fi, a sundeck for outdoor dining, air conditioning to stay comfortable during the hot summer days, and of course the must-have BBQ.

With a unique green tone to the home and a cosy furnished interior, you will feel completely at ease.

2-minutes walk from the beach, take a stroll down and spend your day out under the sun, go for a swim or surf or head out for a walk, and admire the local nature. When you need a coffee or cake fix, the local cafes are just a short walk away as well. To finish your day off, head home and prepare some dinner on the BBQ over a glass of wine.

Short trip

Great traditional bach dating to 1957. Everything we needed was there. No dishwasher but not really needed. My only gripe I kept banging my head on the low hanging name sign over the middle of the back door.

Lovely little house. Excellent location. Pet friendly and just right for a relaxing weekend away

We had a lovely weekend. Close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. Quirky and cute house. Would definitely come again

Great place to stay in a fantastic Waikanae location

Great place to stay in a fantastic Waikanae location - 2 mins to the beach, playground, cafes; 5 mons to the bakery, fish and chip shop, and start of the river biking trail. Fully fenced - fantastic for kids and our dog! Big grassy section, lots of room to play, lots of sunshine to play in, and sheltered from the beach wind. Great facilities - had everything we needed, heat pump, kitchen stuff, great shower etc. The double bed was a bit hard for me, my husband didn't mind it though. Bachcare....they were busy at the time....however they didn't send through details for our arrival until I called them on the morning of our check-in day....

Cozy & Dog Friendly

I had to move out of my home for the floors to be polished - 3 days, 2 dogs and a teenager. It was a relief to find something so cozy and be able to bring my animals with me. Early walks on the beach, coffee down the road and peace and quiet. What a joy!!
