This cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend! Also if you would like to fish in the pond. There are bluegill, bass, and catfish. The bass will bite on artificial lures but all species prefer live bait.
We loved the house and property. We will definitely be coming back. It’s in a great location to everything the area has to offer. Great for larger families.
My extended family and I enjoyed our stay, the pond was wondering for fishing and kayaking! Then house was perfect for our family and allowed just to relax without having to leave! Will definitely stay here again!
The cabin fit my family perfectly. Plenty of space, had everything you could need. My family enjoyed being able to fish and kayak. WiFi worked good for our stay.
This house was amazing! All the family enjoyed to stay at this house. If your looking for something close to town and also away from people this is the house your looking for.
The family had a wonderful relaxing weekend. The cabin was beautiful nestled I the pines, by the pond. We enjoyed exploring the area and local attractions. It was the perfect place for our family to be together and share how thankful we are for all the beautiful things God has created and the blessed family he has given us!

The cabin was amazing. Location was incredible. The only issue we had was a/c the upstairs a/c was not working at all no air temperature got up to 80 during stay. We had to open doors and windows to get air circulation. Back patio was dirty like if it never been used. The remotes I had to go out and purchase batteries. Other than that we loved the cabin if you could please fix this issues we would love to stay again and even consider going more often.
Lovely Home with lots of space. Our family Christmas was enjoyed by all with our own private suites that included good size bathrooms and large walk-in showers.
With 3 fireplaces it made a very cold weekend nice and cozy.
Property is very nice. I would like to have had some instruction on lighting the fireplace. We did figure it out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
The house was visually appealing and conveniently located near restaurants and a state park. The house is spacious and bathrooms were beautiful. We stayed a few days if spring break, so I am betting the cleaning staff was slammed however, it left a little to be desired. The quality of the sheets and bedding was subpar, we walked out to view the small pond and found full ashtrays on the patio, the throw pillows had an unpleasant odor, pool table was missing chalk (mgmt said billiards chalk was back ordered) the throw pillows had an unpleasant odor, the hot tub was spotless, it did take into the late evening to feel warm, K-cups were provided but the Keurig came with mold, which was disappointing. This house is perfect for multi families, lots of kids near by and on the pond. Lots of towels and 2 washers and dryers.
It was a great trip.
There were a couple issues like the tv’s not working and no batteries in the tv remotes or A/C thermostat.
Also the ceiling fans/lights outside on back porch did not work.
This was a great way for us to kick-off our summer. Cabin was great and was exactly as it was described. Maintenance crew came out asap when we noticed something was not working adequately. The kids and teens enjoyed having the lake. Great for all ages.
It had been some time since we had spent the holidays together but the location
made it easy and so enjoyable. The amenities were as advertised and more. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our time at Fishin in the Dark. The house was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. The patio was perfect with access to the pond for fishing and the kids had a great time on the play structure.
