This cabin was wonderful! We were given lots of information about the area before we arrived. Everything was clean (including the hot tub), the beds were comfy, and the location was peaceful and perfect. We also really appreciated the paved "driveway" and paved parking - it made everything so easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall impression was amazing! The right getaway to celebrate each other after 9 years together! This cabin had everything you could ever want for that special getaway! If you’re looking to have a secluded getaway that’s still close enough to Boone and plenty of hikes then this is the place. The house was very clean and cozy and the hot tub was the cherry on top!

The dancing bear cabin was great ! Very comfortable for 5 of us plus our dog! The kids loved the hot tub,and we enjoyed the front porch swing . the area lots to do and all very close. Lots of good restaurants and attractions. Would love to go back again!

Cabin in the woods

The property was very well maintained. The owners even decorated for Christmas; it was adorable! We found a little deer trail to take the pups on each morning, used the hot tub each day and went exploring into the little towns and attractions in the area. I would recommend this for short getaways!!

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the Dancing Bear! We were close to amazing hikes and visited Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was stocked with everything you could need. It was by far one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The hot tub was a favorite after hikes and pickleball. We highly recommend.
