About this property

Charming 2BR - Minutes to Enloe & Chico State

Fully remodeled and just a few houses from Enloe Hospital, the Blue House is a comfortable, quiet base close to Chico State. Every room has mini split heating and cooling, the living room has a TV with Apple TV and a sound bar with subwoofer, and the queen bedroom has high-end KEF speakers.

Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, blackout shades, and the KEF speakers if you want to fall asleep to music.

The full kitchen includes a coffee machine, kettle, and toaster, and the dining table seats four with the leafs raised. For workouts there is a weight bench with dumbbells up to 85 lb, plus a pull-up bar on the back patio, where you'll also find a Weber charcoal grill.

An excellent Samsung washer and dryer pair are available to use, detergent included. The driveway has ample parking for multiple vehicles.

You have the entire house to yourself, with self check-in on a smart lock. No parties, large groups, or pets.

Terrific place

Chris’ house was perfect for our long weekend stay. Great location in a quiet walkable neighborhood close to downtown. Very clean, fresh, nice decor, linens etc and room to spread out. We’ll be back.

Perfect for a weekend in Chico. Moved our daughter back into college and needed a property with a large driveway to park my truck. Chris was quick to respond and very helpful. Will 100% book this property again when we come to Chico.

Beautiful street!!

I stayed here late November and the foliage in this neighborhood was INCREDIBLE! Very close to downtown and a super cute house, would definitely stay here again.

A place to heal

I was in a sad state of mind. After selling my home so to be able to relax and think things through was just what I needed, and this beautiful little house hugged me tight and said relax your safe. I loved being there, it did have challenges, I'm very short and on a walker, but it showed me I can do anything that I want to concur, like stepping into the deepest tub I've ever stepped into. I couldn't reach most of the cupboards but I still had all I needed. Thank you for letting me have faith in myself again.

We felt this was adequate

We thought we were going the home to ourselves. But the host left clothing items and in one room the closet was locked. Otherwise everything was fine except the tub shower was slippery. Grab bars would be better.

Charming cottage

Perfectly located to Chico State in a very cute neighborhood. Walking distance from restaurants and entertainment. AC units in every room kept the house nice and cool. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed Chris' home...especially the last minute upgrade at no extra cost. Everything we needed and more. Perfect for our visit to family

Cheerful and safe neighborhood. Near to, but sheltered from, the main boulevard called Esplanade. Enloe Hospital nearby provides a walking-distance coffee shop and small public garden and playground. Also in easy walking distance, is a convenience store on Warner and a restaurant on Esplanade. Decor has a masculine feel, not a lot of breakable curios. Host was in touch but discrete. I'd happily stay there again.

One of the best in CA

Had an awesome stay at this house with Friends for New Years. This property is one of the best in the State. The owner responds fast and is easy to deal with. The place was so clean, and includes literally everything you need to have a stress free stay for any vacation. Can’t say enough good things about this property and that’s no bs! Awesome place! Highly recommend to anyone. Look forward to visiting this property again and the lovely town of Chico.
