About this property

This spacious ranch sits on a small elevation on a quiet cul-de-sac. This 3 bedroom home comes with a finished basement great for entertaining for friends/family gatherings. The original hardwood floors have been refinished & the Kitchen has brand new cabinets countertops & new stainless steel appliances! The bathroom has also been fully remodeled. The master bedroom has a walkout porch/patio for early morning enjoyment. Outside features a nice size yard, partially fenced and a large side drive with a detached 2 car garage. With Miller Beach within walking distance, this is the perfect place to visit away from home! Extra cleaning measures applied due to COVID-19. Weekend stay

Perfect space for our weekend together ! We came in town from the west coast and the east coast for a wedding and this was a cozy, comfortable space for 5 adults. Back patio and outdoor area was an added bonus! Loved being so close to the dunes!

Very functional!

We came for a girls weekend, celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday. We had 12 girls, all different ages and the property was great for all of us. It is really close to the Miller Beach South Shore Train Line. Sadly, it was under construction when we stayed so we had to drive to the East Chicago station but it was an easy drive. We really enjoyed our time and our stay. We would rent the property again!

Needs help with listing.

The a/c was not working when we arrived. Lights did not work in the dining room and hallway. There was a bug on the coffee table. Two dining room chairs were broken. Advertised for sleeping 14, but recliners, 1 broken, were counted. For sleeping 14, there was one frying pan and one pan to feed 14. and they were rusted. While the owner was helpful with superficial stuff, she was rude and disrespectful for having to deal with necessities. Waiting for her to bring pans to cook for my family caused us to miss half a day of vacation time. Considering we rented well in advance, the property should have been ready for us to arrive after the 4:00 check in time. We arrived that evening.

Beautiful property near Lake Michigan!

The house is beautiful! It was well stocked and very clean. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve slept in outside of our own home. One small bathroom was a little inconvenient with 8 people, but in our search of the area, that seemed typical for most properties, and not a fault of the owners. We’d definitely stay there again!
