The Lake Shore Beach House is steps away from stunning Miller Beach. You can view the lake and sunsets from the windows on the sitting room, great room and master bedroom. The views of Lake Michigan are stunning at any time of the year.

Newly remodeled in 2018, natural light flows throughout this home. It is perfect for a large family retreat in every season. The modern open floor plan is complemented with elegant features and new appliances and eclectic original art.

The Lake Shore Beach House the first floor has a great room which extends from the living room, dining area to the kitchen. Large windows are on both sides of this spacious plan. The kitchen has all new appliances, and lots of room for cooking and entertaining.

Beautiful gardens an high end BQ for our door grilling.

The Lake Shore Beach House has 5 bedrooms. Three bedrooms are on the first floor and two bedrooms are on the lower level. Four of the beds are king size therapeutic luxury mattresses, one is queen. There is a master bathroom, and a large bathroom on both the first floor and the lower level. Total of three newly rehabbed bathrooms.

Walks on the beach are exceptional as you will find it to be one of the cleanest open beaches of Lake Michigan. The neighbors take pride in taking pristine care of this beach, which is part of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park - our nations newest national park! Miller Beach is an exceptional neighborhood beach, festive, well cared for and uncrowded - a perfect getaway at any time of the year.

Beach Please

Elena’s house worked perfectly for our group of 10. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach as the access to Miller Beach is across the street. The beach is exceptional…wide sandy beach, gradual water entry, clear water, not rocky. Perfection! Elena was easy to communicate with and was available if we had any questions. The house had several different areas for gathering and conversation and a nice outdoor space if the weather suited. We would definitely rent Elena’s house again.

Spring break stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, well-stocked, and in a perfect location. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. We especially loved the little touches that made it feel like home. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Great Family Getaway

We had such a wonderful getaway with family in Miller Beach at Elena’s lovely property. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen was very well equipped for meal prep. We really enjoyed the patio, grill, and outdoor table and chairs. The beds were so comfortable with great linens. The beach is close and an easy walk away. Elena provided so many beach toys and blow-ups as well as a wagon for toting to the beach. This experience was superior to most other rentals we have tried. We can definitely recommend it to others and hope to be back soon!

Very Pretty Area

This is a very nice area with lots to do. Elena was very informative about the area and restaurants. The house was very clean and neat. Well stocked with all necessary accessories. Lake Michigan beach is less than a block away. Visited Marquette Park, St. John - The Shrine of Christ's Passion, Valparaiso University Chapel, Michigan City Lighthouse as well as surrounding wineries. The sunset at West Beach was outstanding.

Fabulous house, well appointed and decorated. The washer, dryer, kitchen appliances, pots, pans, dishes are top of the line. The bathrooms are marble and the linens and towels are luxurious. A huge picture window opens up the space with sunlight and you can see the lake just beyond. The neighborhood and beach are clearly cared for like the treasure they are. Elana, our host, had excellent communication and advice for activities. She is gracious and helpful. She has a beautiful rental home. Our family will certainly return, and the grandchildren are already asking when that will happen. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful and Peaceful

Loved staying in this beautiful home with lots of space and amazing vibes. Booked it for a women’s retreat and all of the ladies felt very comfortable and “at home”. The host was wonderful!! Hope to stay here again!

Nice house near beach for large group

House was great for our family of 8. Beds were comfy and house is fully stocked with everything you would need. There is a very short walk across road to Miller Beach. Nice family trip!!!

A Wonderful Family Vacation in a Beautiful Home on the Lake

Elena's home was lovely equipped with al the thoughtful amenities for the kitchen, game room, dining area and sitting room. Her outside Zen patio was such a highlight for outdoor gatherings. Her interior home is spacious and beautiful, only a stone's throw away from Lake Michigan. The swimming was fabulous too. We are deeply grateful for our stay in this beautiful home.

Beautiful property. Great host.

We booked for a week for our annual family summer vacation. Property is very well cared for and bright with lots of windows, We loved being able to access the lake and the national park quite easily. Elena was a very good host and proactive with her communication. Highly recommend!

Miller Beach Lake Home by Elena

Elena's home at Miller Beach was the perfect home and place for our family getaway. The house was AMAZING, clean, very updated and had all the space we needed everywhere. It is a block from the beach. The neighbors and area are beautiful. The sunrise and sunsets are AMAZING. Elena is a fabulour host- we will return!!! :)

Memorial Day Weekend

Beautiful place and very well appointed. Large private patio off the back with multiple sitting areas. Landscapes lended to the peacefulness. Then there’s the beach with the entrance path just across the street. Elena was great with instructions to get in and quickly answering our questions. Strongly recommend.

Relaxing contemplative and zen like

This property is more modern and minimalistic. The bathrooms are very spa-like although I didn't realize there were no bathtubs to soak in until I got there. It was nice in the mornings to sit by the big picture window and glimpse Lake Michigan in the background. The accommodations were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very inviting and clean. I would stay here again.

The house was very nice. The set up was laid back. Only a small walk to the beach. Elena loves her art which made my boyfriend love the stay even more bc of his appreciation for art. We will most definitely be back. Thanks for welcoming us! See you soon!

Sibling Trip.

We had a great time at this house. Other than a little hiccup at check in everything else was fine. The 3 bathrooms in the house are upscale. Full body shower was amazing. Other than sleeping we spent most of our time on the patio. Weather was great. Mentioned to Elena about how nice it would be to have a firepit on patio. Would stay there again if we are back in that area.

Great place to relax

The house and amenities were great - the best amenities I’ve seen at a rental. Everything you need is provided and top notch. From a Ninja blender to facial cleansing clothes and aluminum foil, we had everything we needed. The beach was so easy to get to, and was far away from the public parking so it was not busy at all. My only suggestion is to update the entry doors (main door and basement door) to a lock with a code for entry. Using the traditional lock box and managing a key was not ideal. We really enjoyed the gardens and art inside and out. I especially loved the railroad tie art in the garden…gave me inspiration for my own yard.

Beachy Art Museum Fun House

My sister and I rented the house for Thanksgiving week because our 91yr old Grammie lives in NW Indy. We needed a 1st floor friendly space to host turkey dinner and hangout with aunts uncles and cousins. Elena’s house on the beach was PERFECT for us!!! The basics started at clean updated bathrooms with nice linens, comfortable beds with newish pillows, functional kitchen that 2+ people easily fit, and plenty of seating that didn’t feel crowded. All that and then some. Just a few of the bonus awesome features we loved are the hat collection in the giant bathroom, all the wonderful eclectic interesting artwork, the large capacity washer & dryer, and all the unique serving ware and dishes tucked into the huge kitchen cabinets. Thank you. We loved it, and I know we will leave Texas again to come visit this house for sunny warm summer beach days very soon!

Pretty much the beach house of your dreams

This Miller Beach home is a very short walk away from one of the most beautiful and uncrowded beaches in the Dunes. The sunny, airy house offers beach toys (but not beach towels!) galore and an outdoor shower. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is super well-equipped, and the house is full of personal touches. It is very well kept up. Our host, Elena, kept in touch, which we appreciated. We enjoyed eating outside on the large, lighted patio, and the kids loved the rabbit who hangs out in the back yard. There were 6 of us--larger parties should know that the two downstairs bedrooms are dark and feel isolated. Shopping is about a 20-minute drive away; the only nearby restaurant is not family-friendly. These are quibbles--we spent 10 days there and enjoyed every minute.

Excellent group home at the beach

This recently remodeled property is spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and great for groups. As shown in the pictures, there's lots of room for more than one cook in the kitchen. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, and glasses to go around for a group without needing to run the dishwasher after each meal. All of the bathrooms are newly remodeled and tasteful. Separate sitting areas accommodate those who want to do different things at once as well as space for all to be together. Our group of 6 had ample space and the home can accommodate more people easily. The home is also just a block to the beach so access couldn't be better. Elena is easy to work with and very responsive to any inquiries before and during your stay. For those who are modest, note that there's a couple steps from any bedroom to a bathroom ...

Lake Shore Home

The home and area were beautiful. Unfortunately, the attitude of Elena was not as desirable. There was a gas leak and while Elena did call the gas company, she refused to her have her maintenance man visit the property on the first night. Instead he came on Saturday morning and disturbed sleeping guests for a bit. We had to have our own person stop by to say they were maintenance to avoid having the gas completely shut off until morning. We had to pay our local person for his inconvenience which Elena said she wanted to at least tip him, and this never happened. On Sunday we honored an 81 year old guest with outdoor music from 5 - 6:30 pm. Shortly before 6 pm Elena called and said she received complaints. AT 6 PM? I verified noise ordinances are in place beginning 9 pm - 9 am. Seems quite odd that we were called around 6 pm when it was early and not very loud. We asked for a bit of a refund for our inconvenience and Elena declined, offering a menial amount, refusing to negotiate and then discontinuing communication. I have never used VRBO before and since all communication was with the host I did not even think that we would be looking for alternate accommodations. Elena tried to blame guests about timing if notifying her and such. There is no blame for people who paid in advance and could not even turn in the stove to cook for senior citizens either health concerns because of the gas danger. Elena was interested in her review rather than guest comfort/safety.
