Welcome to the Key West Shire! A sublime sanctuary where all your worldly troubles melt away and relaxation is paramount. From our tiny lane, one just sees a darling KW shot-gun shack but wait until you see the oasis! Yes this is one of those places… The Shire consists of 5 tiny houses, a lushly landscaped yard and an extraordinary, shared 70’ serpentine pool that about spans the length of the property. Here your biggest worry will be how to spend your downtime. Cocktails by/in the pool, read a book, do some yoga, meditate, paint/write/draw, go to the beach/out on the town, get a massage or just sit & experience the tranquility. The possibilities are endless!

Your cozy conch shack, circa 1910, will consist of 1 bedroom (queen memory foam), 1 bathroom & an office - along with private front porch & back deck. The stocked galley kitchen has stainless steel appliances & coveted extra counter space. The living room is flanked with stunning Dade County Pine, vaulted ceilings, lots of light & a large flatscreen HDTV & free WiFi.

The decor is primarily Zen, inspiring you to relax. In addition, there is a local 100 year old, live edge pass-through to the back deck - where you will also find a dining table to enjoy your coffee & a paper, happy hour or any meals.

Perfect Bahama Village location, close to the action but not too close, private off street parking, 2 complimentary bikes. Ideal for a single or a couple!

Great Stay!

We've had long stays in various Key West locations, and this cottage was our best stay yet. An adorable cottage, great location, great neighbors in the 4 other small cottages, and an absolutely serene pool and landscaping made our stay a quintessential Key West vacation. In addition, Wendy the owner is a local resident, and she's never more than a quick text or phone call away. She does a great job making you feel welcome and kept up to date. My wife and I had an absolutely awesome time!

Perfect Cottage

We biked everywhere so it’s a perfect location! Two great restaurants, each a block away two blocks from Duvall. This place is quiet!! The Logan pool is beautiful and relaxing. Equipped with a small kitchen we cooked every night. The bed is comfy too. We just loved it. Wendy is a wonderfully kind owner and always a call or text away. This place is indeed the epitome of Key West.

Piece of paradise

My spouse and I have been staying in key west for 10 years. Here, hands down, has been our best stay. Hostess, Wendy, is very available, and wants you to enjoy your stay.Best pool and lush tropical setting in the rear compound, nicest neighbors, bikes for getting around, a parking spot if you need one, and right in the middle of it all on a quiet lane. We’re going back! Thank you Wendy

Zen in Key West

Quiet Terry Lane is an ideal location in Bahama Village, Old Town, near everything. Coming home to the Zen cottage was a pleasure. Wendy made us feel relaxed and comfortable from the start with supplies and provisions. The house is cozy and peaceful. The bonus room with comfortable chair was perfect for meditation. And the breakfast deck, shared tropical backyard and serpentine pool were beautiful!

The gardens and the pool were amazing. Great location to pretty much everything. Bikes were a bonus. Best way to get around without paying all the parking fees. I would highly recommend this place to any couple wanting to stay in Key West Wendy was a wonderful host.

Winter escape

Wendy, the host, is simply wonderful. Everything I needed was available in the small but efficient kitchen. I was able to escape the Midwest winter and enjoy the warmth and sun of KW. The location is absolutely perfect, a quick block walk to Duval but far enough from the noise. The pool is so unique and wonderful. Great neighbors who were all so very welcoming. I spent most of my time sitting by the pool and enjoying the serenity. It’s truly a unique setting steps away from all the best restaurants.
