About the host
Hosted by Pat and Dave

We have been coming to Freshwater East beach for years and have owned our Lodge since 2004. We love the area. We like walking along the coastal path. Spotting wild flowers and birds. We love the long sandy beach and love how it changes from month to month. We also love exploring the rock pools at each end of the beach. Tenby Lodge is great for eating out on the balcony and we often sit and eat and enjoy the peace and tranquility. It's great to sit out on the upstairs balcony and take in the view over the beach and coast line. Never bored as there is so much to see and do. The grandchildren love swimming on their body boards and love the beach.
Why they chose this property
Tenby lodge has everything we need. Much like a home from home with the wonderful views. The climate is also milder down there being at least 2 degrees warmer than in Bristol where we live. In the summer when it is hot the sea breeze makes it a very comfortable heat. The best bit about the property is the extra bathrooms. One down stairs so you don't have to go upstairs when in the lounge and 2 upstairs. One for each bedroom. I also like the fact that you can be in the fully equipped kitchen and still watch the TV from the lounge. In the winter as well as there are wall heaters, there is a electric flame effect fire which makes it feel very cosy. We are at the beach but also in the country at the same time. Best of both worlds.
What makes this property unique
