Hi Teressa, thanks again for staying at my house and for the 5 star review!
A perfect little house for a 4 day getaway! All 4 beds were perfect. Nice to cook there. Relaxing on the dock trying to catch fish, and not far from the dirt track we were there for! Not much can be said but THANK YOU!
Great house and exceptional dock. We had a blast, owner communication was excellent.

Quiet cozy Lake Norman cottage
Cottage was super clean and well equipped for our stay with our dog. We had everything we needed and the view was amazing. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed seeing deer, osprey and herons everyday. Will come back!!
We enjoyed the cabin and being on Lake Norman was vert relaxing and it's beautiful. Would highly recommend it and would revisit in the future. Gorgeous neighborhood and friendly neighbors.
Our family had a great vacation at this home! We fished everyday that it didn’t rain. Fishing was excellent, The fish are glad we left! (He He) this home had an excellent dock with electricity to charge our boats. The home was very accommodating for our whole family (5 adults and 2 children).
beach is great, quiet cove with lots of shade, good boat dock. house could use a few more kitchen supplies if you want to cook anything beyond simple meal

From the owner: 'Thank you for your review. What would you like me to add to the kitchen supplies?"
We had an amazing time. My mother-in-law (82) came with us and had a fun time with easy access to the beach area and dock. My husband and I had fun with all the lake toys and fishing. My puppy had fun seeing the deer while taking walks. We will stay again when we visit the area.
Our stay at this location was perfect. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards every morning. The screened in porch was our favorite place to spend the evenings after dinner playing board games with our family. We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the campfire. We would definitely come back!!
Rick provided a wonderful place to stay for 3 months in the winter. He was very accommodating and easily reached. The kitchen had everything we needed. Being on the lake in a quiet neighborhood was very relaxing, but near to many restaurants and stores. Definitely would recommend this place.

Hi Doreen, the homeowner would like to share the following: "Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us. We look forward to hosting you again soon."
Very relaxing stay. I chose this property because of the kayaks and paddle boards. We had a wonderful time. Providing kitchen towels and dishcloths would be helpful. But we had most of what we needed with the house. The owner was very attentive. We’d rent again for sure.
The location, beach and dock is amazing! Unfortunately the cottage was tidy but alot of cobwebs, dirty windows and a very strong musty/mildew smell. The furniture could be updated also. We spent alot of our time enjoying outside on the beach and by the fire pit.
We enjoyed the view. My daughter got a catfish 30.5 pounds. Fishing was great couldnt ask for a better place to stay. The only thing that i would change would be the staircase. It need a handle on the bottom wall for people to get up the stairs..My mom couldnt get upstair without a handle. I fell coming down the stairs. The place was beautiful. Could use a good deep cleaning. My daughter service dog loved the place too. We all would love to come back again

Peaceful location, great porch, great host
We spent 3 months here escaping the frozen Downeast Maine winter. It was just 2 of us plus our dog who loved to sit on the screened in porch and watch the wildlife. The gas fireplace was very cozy. The place had all the amenities we needed - heat, well-appointed kitchen, lots of sheets and towels, and good showers. It was near many restaurants and any store you could ask for in Mooresville. 45 minutes to the Charlotte airport and downtown Charlotte - we went to a performance at the Belk Theater (avoid the attached parking garage if you can, took a long time to exit) and the Mint Museum. Lots to do in the area. Rick, the host, was easily reachable and responsive to any questions or requests we had. This cottage is definitely a find.

"From the owner": "Hi Deb, Thank you for the review and for taking such good care of my house. I appreciate your business and wish you and your husband all the best in your new home."
We had a great time everything was like it said online I loved the heat in the bathrooms mainly the one upstairs after a good shower the lake is just beautiful didn’t have any problems except the Kuerig coffee maker didn’t work didn’t find that out till we already bought coffee and tried to make it but luckily they had another coffee maker we could use! Overall great property and stay!
We really enjoyed the home and location. The property is outstanding. I recommend bringing your own pillows and even a crockpot & storage containers for refrigeration. Bring your own life jackets too! Otherwise, wonderful! There is two adult kayaks (one tandem), two childrens and two paddle boards. Beach is so nice! Loved our stay.
House and property perfect. Lovely, convenient location!! Best lake view/location—open waters (not in stagnant cove) but not a lot of boat traffic.
Quiet neighborhood. Lovely windows along entire wall of house facing lake. Everything we needed.
A bit of delay with property management communication but property owner quick to respond and take care of any questions
Thanks and hope to be back soon!!
Perfect location, perfect amount of shade & sunshine! House was perfect for the 2 of us and our special needs German shepherd Cyrus....the sandy area entering the lake was awesome! Will come here again!
