This property had everything we needed. Sitting on the patio over the water was the favorite of everyone! The house was clean and enough room for all. The house looked just like the pictures online. Will stay again.

Great stay

Place was clean, arrival was easy to check into the home, the view was beautiful. Overall stay was a 10 out of 10! The oldest to the youngest enjoyed the stay! Communication with property manager was good, clean and answered all my questions fast. I would recommend!

Better than advertised!

The property was better than we hoped. It is beautiful, comfortable and located conveniently in town. The pictures somehow don't do it justice. The view over the lake was amazing! Our whole party was impressed and enjoyed the stay so much we hope to return at some point. I would highly recommend this beautiful home!

Location was great, property needs updated and cleaning.

The location was great, and the host was very nice to deal with. However the house needed cleaning. There were cobwebs with spiders in the entry hall, spider webs on the light over the dining room table, the carpet was beyond filthy and the bathroom floor in the master is coming apart. Blinds don't work, electric plug in master is exposed and one window in master has no privacy curtain. Most disappointing is we rented it for Christmas, the fireplace we were not advised ahead did not work which was a key reason why we rented this property. Wanted to have a fire and hang the stockings. The couch is positioned blocking the non working fireplace. Also we were sad there were no Christmas decor. Everywhere we rented in the past years had decorations and usually a tree. We left a full day early.

The house was very nice and clean. The kitchen and dining room were great. The large dining table was perfect for large groups and playing games. The view of the lake was beautiful. Our only complaint was the sleeping situation. The bed in the master was comfortable. However, the other beds were really bad. The double bed in one room was so bad that one of the ladies moved to the couch. In the bunk room the ladies were hardly able to sleep on the uncomfortable mattress. In order to sleep 12 as stated, you had to use a blow up mattress in the closet. That being said, it really was a big comfortable home. The location was very convenient. Just know that the other two bedrooms are more suitable for children.

Girls weekend

Nice house on a quiet street. Nice patio overlooking the lake. The house is older, but in good condition. Some of the furnishings could be updated. The owners have installed dispensers in the showers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash which is a very nice touch. The second night we were there the lock on the front door quit working, but the owners were very responsive and helped us get in the house right away. We had a nice stay and everyone slept great.

Great spot

My parents loved the house and the location. I would not highly recommend this to toddlers or atleast the backyard. The backyard is pretty big but its not all the way fenced towards the lake, meaning its open and pretty dangerous for a kid to be near. Allot of fire ants too. So we tried to avoid much of the backyard for my kids. Has a fire pit to make smores but you need to bring everything!! Like even the metal sticks, unless your lucky to find sticks. We brought all of our utensils, paper plates, cooking utensils, etc, since i read they dont have much of it. Beds are not comfy at all so good luck sleeping. The shower head is awesome, couches are comfy, big roomy kitchen. Theres also a dollar general like 2 min away so incase you forgot to bring anything not to worry. Owner is pretty quick to respond so i think thats important.

the outdoor of the property could of been cleaner and more lighting in the backyard, and feel like sliding door should have been fixed before we got there, was very annoying as the weekend went.

A Getaway With Lots of Room

The Pros and Cons of this property, it can accommodate a large family and provide everyone their own TV and space. The back yard was peaceful with a 'lake view.' The cons, the kitchen was not functional, they provided cooking pans, silverware, 4 plates 8 glasses and coffee cups and that is it. cooking meals without mixing bowls, cereal bowls and plates meant several trips to the store. Their Lake is not children friendly adult supervision is strongly encouraged, access was a very narrow,steep spiral staircase and it was too hot to touch to get down. This side of the lake was immediately a 6ft or more depth. Whew!~climbing back up with a 3 year old was a chore. The beds were not comfortable but the hot shower, 'water pressure' was plentiful. I would recommend the VRBO with a better write up describing the lake for teenagers and adults.

Family get together

We were all very impressed with the property, very clean and well stocked. If older adults stay in the house just be aware the den is a sunken den with 2 steps coming from the entry to all other areas. It was a great house but always had to be aware of the steps.

Granbury

Pros-Owners were great, very responsive as they let us check in early. Great location, right across from the boat ramp at Stumpys and close to downtown. Cons-If you plan on cooking I would bring what you need as it is the bare necessities (no mixing bowls, no grill utensils, no wine opener, etc) make sure to clean pots and pans before using they were all dirty. We had all adults, I would not bring children, the outside had stickers everywhere and big red fire ants, make sure to bring bug killer with you, as we saw many spiders along with the grass is all dead. The sliding glass door is VERY hard to open, it needs to be oiled. You cannot get to the water as the staircase down is a spiral and it's VERY scary, I am not sure it would support anyone. The beds are not comfortable, seem very cheap. The property could be really nice but it definitely needs some attention to it.

Great House

Really enjoyed the house. The water pressure in the showers was incredible, which is always a big plus to me. The view is amazing, and the property was easy to find. The rooms were large, and had plenty of room. The only downside was the steep spiral staircase to get to the water.
