Kora's View is a situated in a picturesque setting. This 3 bedroom two bathroom modern house set on 5 acres , overlooks the Hapuku River, the Manakau Peak and the Pacific Ocean. Just a quick 10 minute drive North of Kaikoura Town Ship. We want to Share our stunning property that we have called home that is surrounded by Kanuka trees. Hear the songs of local Manu (birds). A quick drive north to a top surf beach. Have a glass of wine on the expansive deck that over looks the sea, the mountains and the hapuku river.

Of our four stops in the Southern Island, this was our favorite! Kora's View is "Heaven on Earth" and we wish we could have stayed longer. It was very clean, spacious, had a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and the most beautiful views and grounds! So relaxing and calming after hectic traveling.We had a short drive into Kaikoura for our whale-watching tour and a couple of dinners. The fireplace was toasty and plenty of firewood provided....even found a newly delivered wheelbarrow full in the morning :)Sarah went above and beyond to return a forgotten wallet...so greatly appreciated! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us :)

Korasview a welcome haven

Sarah’s place was a welcome haven to explore the Kaikōura area. The house was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains from the comfortable deck chairs. Sarah was friendly and welcoming and had great tips for local attractions. One of our favourite New Zealand stops. Highly recommended.

Couldn’t have asked for anything else. This place is just beautiful and so well equipped for all your travelling needs. So comfortable and home from home. Having a chance to wash & dry some laundry, to cooking a meal in the well equipped kitchen and relaxing in the beautiful grounds. Great hosts who respected our privacy so kindly. Had a lovely couple of days at this wonderful property. Enjoyed spectacular views of mountains, sea, sunrises and sunsets. Our young daughter liked feeding the cows, sheep and goats. A really lovely house- pleasure to be there.

Terry and I both love nature and Kaikoura and all it has to offer. We are based in Christchurch. We have planted 1000s of native plants to create a natural haven and to attract native bird life.

Why they chose this property

Kora’s View is peaceful and is surrounded by nature. Friend farm animals greet you, there is an abundance of bird life that is attractive to the abundance of native plants we have planted . The deck is huge and invites relaxation.
