Welcome to Mermaid Crossing, a beautifully remodeled 9th-floor oceanfront 1-bedroom condo at Capri by the Sea—the only oceanfront high-rise in Pacific Beach. With floor-to-ceiling windows, glass railings, and unobstructed Pacific views, this home delivers a true front-row seat to San Diego’s coastline.

Completed in 2020, the designer-led remodel features a modern coastal aesthetic with quartz waterfall countertops, stainless steel appliances, driftwood-style flooring, mirrored accents, ceiling beams, and a rock wall with an electric mood fireplace. The open living space includes a 65” Smart TV, ceiling fan, and a desk that converts into a queen Murphy bed with ocean views. A high-end queen sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space.

The bedroom offers a luxury king mattress, 55” Smart TV, and ceiling fan for comfort. The fully equipped kitchen includes seating for five and stunning ocean views—perfect for dining in while watching the waves. The condo comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests.

Guests have access to rooftop deck with multiple gas BBQs, seating and lounge chairs. There is a communal pool and hot tub located next door that can be accessed by the key fob.

Customer service is a high priority to us. We like to make sure you have what you need before you arrive and get settled into our home. We are available whenever you need us, 7 days a week and after hours!

Pacific Beach

• Booking Process: After booking, you must complete our electronic rental agreement and an identity verification to access your guest portal. Check-in details, including a custom door code and property information, are available in the portal after all requirements are completed.
• Seasonal Policies: We have minimum stay requirements that vary by season.
Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5 night minimum, no arrivals on July 4th (Independence Day)
Holidays: 5-night minimum. A single reservation cannot span both Christmas and New Year's unless it is 14+ nights. No arrivals/departures on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
• Check-In/Out: Check-in is 3 p.m. (4 p.m. in summer). Check-out is 11 a.m.
• Group Travel: We manage multiple units in this building. Please inquire if you need more space for a larger family or group.
• Property Note: This is a privately owned vacation home. Furnishings and decor may occasionally be updated and differ slightly from the photos.
• Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted.
• Rate Policy: Rates fluctuate daily. Pricing at the time of booking is the confirmed rate.
• Age Policy: We typically do not rent to guests under 25 or to large groups. Please contact us prior to booking if your group requires an exception.
• Climate Control: The condo does not have central A/C. It is equipped with electric wall heaters for cooler evenings and enjoys a wonderful ocean breeze.
• Laundry: Coin-operated laundry machines are conveniently located down the hall from the unit for your use.
• Beach Gear Provided: We provide a variety of beach accessories, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and boogie boards.
• Starter Kit: We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergents. All linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also included.
• Traveling with Children: Baby equipment, including a pack ‘n play, high chair, and crib, is available to rent for your convenience. Please inquire for details.

We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you`re planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Just ride our provided bikes or walk the neighborhood.
